Stef's: POV
I was up bright and early getting the food prep for tomorrow's meal.
Lena and I decided to do a cook out on to see who could make the best turkey, mom was going to be the judge. The winner would get a weekend away at the spa resort
Since I seasoned the turkey last night
I put it in the oven. Mom and Lena were still asleep, Lena had a hard time sleeping due to the babies moving around constantly. Good morning my love how did you sleep
Stef asked, l didn't fall asleep until 5 this morning. Lena replies as she took a seat on the stool, she reached over and grabbed a banana and peeled it back and begin eating it. As soon as I finish this l'm gonna start making the mac and cheese since you shredded the cheese yesterday, l'm gonna snap the string beans. We got from the farmers market, plus l need peeled the sweet potatoes. Shannon and her husband will be here tomorrow afternoon around 3pm, l'm not holding about Sasha and dash coming even though she said she was going to swing by after seeing her parents
On top of that somebody's gonna have to come pick up the twenty pound turkey. Shannon's preparing the side dishes, and a few desserts for here and the group home, l guess your is still asleep. She's supposed to judging this cook off, you challenge me to Stefanie. Lena states, oh baby don't be such a spoil spot. Because l'm a better cook in the kitchen, Stef Stated in your dreams babe whatever helps you sleep at night. I may not be the best in the kitchen, but l'm good at other things. Besides l don't hear you complaining about my stuff chicken with stuffing and cranberry sauce inside and my seafood calm chowder from scratch, Lena list all the wonderful dishes she knows how to make. Where are my babies cocoa and snowy at, their usually down there. Lena replies,Their around here somewhere. I need to feed them then take cocoa and snowy out for a walk
I tell Lena, who is filling the pot with water for the macaroni and cheese
Good morning sweethearts isn't such a beautiful morning. Don't worry about feeding and walking your precious puppies, their quite obedient
I might add. I gotta tell you l never seen very well trained dogs before
Sharon said. Mom have been smoking weed again, because I can't have my baby around those kinds of street drugs. Stef tells her mom, Stephanie no I haven't smoked anything even though l have a prescription from my doctor. It's supposed to help with my arthritis on my knees, Sharon replied
