Vera thought she has seen everything that Jack has, especially after looking him up on the internet and researching his net worth, and seeing his private jet worth billions of dollars until she stood gaping at two expensive yachts.

Her eyes flew surprisingly to his face when he cleared her doubts by saying that they belong to him and he wants her to enter it all first because they are brand new.

"Jack…" she trailed off.

He threw his arm possessively over her shoulder and nibbled on her earlobe. "Come on, stop making me feel like I shouldn't have bought it. I just wanted to own everything that was a dream to me when I was a kid,"

"That's not what I… Holy heavens Jack! So why were you so worried about the company going bankrupt while you have so much that the fall of the company wouldn't affect your status?!" She bursted out.

He walked close to one of the yachts, and placed a hand on the body. The lights, in and out were fully alive that one would mistake the night for day around the ocean.

"I wasn't worried because of me, there are hundreds of people working there and their families depend on their salary for their livelihood, what would happen to them if the company falls?" He said, and turned to look at her.

"When you shouted at the delivery van driver that day, and called me miserable and wretched, I thought that you were hateful and cruel. I didn't know you had a soft heart at all." Vera said to him.

"Maybe I was, I mean, I… it's you. Everything is because you came into my life and perfected it with your imperfections. I would still be spiteful if not because you entered at the right time." He said frankly.

"You keep surprising me everyday, and it makes me feel like I am falling for you all over again." She hugged him from behind, burying her face in his shoulder.

"I will catch you even if you fall one million times, so don't be scared because I will be your hero," he covered her hands which were around his waist.

"The yacht, it's so beautiful. You love white!" She stated, crossing him to touch the white boat.

"I love you!" He corrected her exaggeration.

She turned around and jumped into his arms. "I will definitely serve my punishment in this love boat of yours and I won't regret a thing."

"Okay, my angel!" He carried her into the cabin. "You will explore the yacht tomorrow, for now, let's explore ourselves!"

"You are crázy!" She laughed as he carefully put her down. "Beautiful, but I would love the air outside," she admitted, admiring the flowers used to decorate the cabin which was more spacious than her own bedroom.

"It's cold outside," he said.

"Two bodies produce heat and I believe you can make me warm. If possible, the boat should be racing towards the Northside," she embraced him.

"Is there any other thing you might need?" He whispered to her ear.

"Absolutely nothing!" She helped him out of his clothes.

"I should be in charge here," he reminded her, grasping her hands.

"Thanks for reminding me that I am a loser!" She laughed.

"Let me check up on my baby first," he undressed her and placed his head on her tummy.

She put her hands on his head and grinned when he kissed her baby bump. Joy filled her heart, that of an expectant mother who knows that the father of her unborn child loves her and cares about their baby.
