Two days.

Two days have passed since I am here.

Why did I even joined the Nick's Corporation?

But today was also the day when Ava is coming. Aunt Lillian told that she would be coming in the afternoon.

I was successful in keeping myself away from that sick example of a devil.

Ha! Devil! Bruh.

It was like calling a chicken, a lion. I hope he will not be coming near to me for days after yesterday's incident. But it has also raised a question in his eyes about my identity.

A knock came on the door. Twice.

It was Aunt Lillian.

I slowly peeked through the door and made her come inside.

Suddenly her words died out. She started coughing badly.

"Aunt? Aunt, what happened?"

"I..I.do..on't know...*coughs* it's...cho..choking *cough* me."

I widened my eyes when I saw blood coming out of her mouth.

"Aunt..aunt..it's bl..blood!"

Her eyes rolled backwards and she fell to the ground. I quickly caught her before she could hurt herself.

"What did you eat last night?"

She started breathing heavily.

"Aunt Lillian, what did you eat last night?"

"It..it..was everyday's..din..ner Master..offer..offers us."

I felt my blood becomimg cold thinking of one possibility.

"Aunt, let me take you to the hospital."

"No don't. Edward is keeping an eye on you."

" That means he knows that you give me food. You saved me that day."

She slightly nodded.

"Damnit, I am sorry Aunt. But I can't be selfish."

I made her stand up and called Aiden.

"Aiden, where are you?"

"At my house. Why?"

"Can you come to Edward's house?"

"Yeah sure, but why?"

"I don't have the time, please come, be quick."

"Coming."

He was in front of the house in 5 minutes. I quickly carried her to the car and we drove to the hospital.

Little I knew she has already left us.

The doctors were unable to do anything. She passed away in the middle of the road.

I felt devastated. I was forced to return back to his mansion. He was keeping an eye on me. I couldn't escape. I went back to Ava's room and sat on the floor.

Edward is killing those who are helping me.

I let the tears leave my eyes which could have pierced my heart.

Minutes later, I was sobbing badly bringing my knees closer to my chest. I couldn't do anything. She was helping me and in return she got killed.

The door opened and someone stepped inside.

"Aunt Lillian, I am ho.. Elissa is that you?"

I looked back to see the source of this voice and was instantly relieved. A wave of happiness washed my heart as I ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"Elissa? Why are you here?"

"Ed.. Edward..he.."

I couldn't form the words.

I felt Ava's posture go stiff. She put a hand around my shoulder and hugged me close.

"What did he do?" Her voice was filled with rage.

I narrated her the whole incident which had happened.

"He killed Aunt Lillian?" Ava's voice was quivering at the end.

She ran towards the balcony and gripped the iron rails.

"What are you doing, Ava?"

I ran behind her.

"He has killed Blair too."

"Bl.. Blair?"

"Yes, that boy. Edward found out about him and killed him. He is a murderer."

A loud gasp escaped from my mouth as I stepped backwards.

"Don't worry, Elissa. I will help you."

"You will?"

"Yes."

A smile formed on my lips thinking that I am not alone now.
