It's been two whole weeks and still no word on our missing daughter. We ended up leaving the cabin because it was filled with to many painful memories of our little girl, we found a cottage three miles away. It was a lot bigger than the cabin we rented, the place we have now has five bedrooms and three full size bathrooms, we posted flyers all around town with Francesca's picture on it. This has taken a lot of out of my wife and I physically mentally and emotionally
My parents and Lena's came down to be with us in our time of need, the Day we came back from the police station. We had a long talk with our oldest son Brandon about everything that was going on, he seemed to understand what we were saying,

Once she calm down she told him everything that happened, we both took a leave of absence from our jobs until further notice. Our bosses were sympathetic to what we were going through and told us to take all the time we needed, l called Mariana's folks telling them we couldn't take her for the summer. Cause we were dealing with a family matter, after talking to them for over an hour.
I didn't go into full detail about what happened to Francesca, we wanted to keep it within the family. I've been trying to get Lena to rest she barely sleeps at night and when she does she wakes up crying, this whole thing hurting us both in different ways
Detective Rollins and lieutenant Benson Cabot haven't called to give us an update on the case. Somebody has to know or seen something, these people up here in the mountains are rather strange. I just feel like where missing a big piece of the puzzle, none said anything about the foot prints. I wonder if Francesca went outside, while we were all upstairs in our rooms.
