It's been three weeks since Francesca's transfer to Los Angeles children's hospital. It's been a uphill battle with the viral affection she contacted from the other hospital in Colorado, she's been doing a lot better with the antibodies the doctor has her on. After having a meeting with her doctors, we were told she's been able to be transferred to a regular room
Cause her latest test came back exceptional well. Stef and I were over come with emotion, this afternoon she'll have her first physical therapy session with Dr. Matthews, l can't believe tomorrow she'll be celebrating her tenth birthday
We were hoping she would out the hospital. But what she didn't know
Stef arranged to go buy her a birthday cake, balloons and presents. Unfortunately Sharon is still in town
Dad said he and Brandon would come up and surprise Francesca. We just wanna do something special for baby girl, dad called me to tell me he and Brandon had a one on conversation
I don't ask him what it is about, my mind's been so busy worrying about Francesca. Ok course we FaceTime Brandon and talk to him, Stef went up to the school to talk to Francesca's teacher's to inform them that she won't be coming back this year and what work she needed to catch up on while she was recovering. We found her an excellent tutor to help with her studies. We did a intense background check on Maya before hiring for the position, Francesca hasn't met her yet

Maya came highly recommend from the caseworker here on pediatric ward. Now we're waiting to upstairs to a private room, Stef's boss Joy has been a God sent with setting Francesca up in her own room

I'm not trying to be difficult. She was in the wrong for what she said behind my back. I've been home to the laundry and shower packed up another bag clothes for Francesca
I took care the monthly bills and went grocery shopping while Stef stayed up at the hospital with Francesca, l wanted to get everything set up for when Francesca comes back home
I'm waiting on the hospital supply company to come and bring a bed and portable toilet. Luckily we have a full size bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor, that way someone's downstairs in case Francesca needs one of us during the night. Dr. Matthews suggested physical therapy three days a week, she informed us that she would start off slow for two hours a day and would bump it up three later on. All Francesca's medical bills have been taken care by the other hospitals lawyer, we're still waiting on our settlement checks to come in the mail. We're expecting three to coming soon, l know it's a process. It's just taking forever to come, we were planning on taking the kids to Disney world in the summer
Since things have changed we'll have to play it by ear at the moment.
