Stef's: POV
Francesca and l were on our way to the sports arena to see the basketball game. After getting the tickets a few weeks back, she has know idea that we're going to see the clippers versus the LA Lakers. I got us box seats and plus l arranged for her to meet the players. I wanted to do something special for her, thinking about our last conversation we had. I never wanted her to feel like I didn't care, when we pulled up to the sports complex. There was cars all over the place
I look on Francesca's face was priceless. I drove around for five minutes trying to find a parking space
I finally found one that was not far away from the main entrance, l got the car and went to get her wheelchair from the trunk. I put the brakes on open the front door, lifted Francesca up and placed her in the chair. Momma l can't believe we're really here, she says to me. I told you

I took the brakes off and I begin pushing her towards the front entrance, a guy comes out the door

While I choose a bud light, l was just happy to see my little girl smiling again. She's been through a lot these last few months, Lena and I decided to spend some one on one time with Francesca separately. Her Therapy sessions with Dr. Matthews seems to be helping somewhat, but Francesca to talk about what happened when she was kidnapped, the doctor told us we needed to remain patient and Francesca would open up when she's ready. Lena's doing everything she can to make sure Francesca is comfortable, working with her tutor
is going well Francesca is warming up to the young woman we hired.
Being back to work has been a huge adjustment, I only go in on the days Francesca has physical therapy.
Brandon comes over to have dinner with us from time to time. He doesn't say much, but when he does it's usually about his music. Brandon tries not to stare at Francesca, l caught him glance over at her a few times. Luckily she didn't notice, but Lena did
