Francesca's: POV
Once mama dropped me off at school
I was pretty much on my own after entering the building. There were kids scattered all around the hallway, as l headed down to the main office to meet with the guidance counselor Ms. Bradshaw to pick up my schedule, l tried to calm my Anxiety.
I walked up to the front desk. Hi my name is Francesca foster and l'm here to Ms. Bradshaw Francesca says to the secretary.
You can have a seat while I call her and let her know you're here to see her Mrs. McCain said to me, as I took a seat on the bench outside in the hallway and l look over to see a girl who looked to be around my age who seems to be rather nervous like me. I tried not to stare but something in my mind told me to introduce myself so l moved over a little closer to her to strike up some sorted conversation. Hi l'm Francesca but everyone calls me Frankie l said to the girl Hi l'm Myra is this your first day to she asks me? Yeah something like that Francesca replied. We spent the next few minutes getting to know each other, while we waited for Ms. McCain to come out to meet us
The hallway was almost empty
Finally a tall woman who had long blonde came out to greet us. She kinda looks like my mama l think to myself, she had the most intense green eyes l ever seen before. She introduced herself as Ms. McCain our new homeroom teacher, we followed her down to the classroom when we entered inside there was around fifteen kids seated in there seats quietly. I had to remember this was an honors class for the smarter children like myself, class we have two new students who are starting here and their kinda nervous please make them feel welcomed here Ms. McCain tells everyone. We go to find our seats, l took a seat in the second row and Myra took hers across from me. Ms.MCcain starts writing notes on the black board, so I took out my notebook and begin taking notes
in the corner of my eye l see Myra doing the same as well. This school isn't half bad as l thought it would be
