Francesca's: POV
This morning l'm having physical therapy with Dr. Matthews we're down in the one of the empty rooms
I wish mommy and mama were here
We did a few basic exercises, until l'm standing up on my feet. Dr. Matthews gives me the green light to move forward, l tried not to look down
I begin to moved my foot forward
While holding on to the rail. I took three steps ahead, and that's when Dr. Matthews tells me to continue moving
I take a few more massive steps forward. My legs feel like Jell-O
Since I haven't used them in a long time, l'm proud myself for taking a couple of steps. Dr. Matthews didn't want me to over do it, she helped me back to my wheelchair. Francesca you should be proud of the progress you've been making these last few weeks, if we continue working on you walking abilities. You're be back up on your feet by Christmas of new year
The key to this whole physical therapy
We have to take baby steps, there will be times. I'm gonna push you
You might feel like giving up, you know this is only temporary so don't get discouraged. Once your discharged from the hospital next week, you're be seeing me four days a week. For two hours a day, Dr. Matthews explains everything to me
I sit back in my chair. And drink my water, are your mom's coming to visit you this afternoon. Cause I noticed yesterday, your mama came, Dr. Matthews is concerned that Lena didn't make it. No mama wanted to spend some one on one time with me
Mommy needed a break, whatever your trying accomplish here it's not gonna happen. Both my parents love me, and they are allowed to take for themselves. So don't assume you know them, Francesca said
