Surviving her first night home

Lena's: POV
As soon as we got home from the hospital Francesca was a bit tired
So Stef got Francesca situated in bed
I was downstairs preparing Lunch
For us.  I decided to make chicken burgers and fries l put in the oven
I called Dad to let him know we're home, while the food was being prepared. I sat down at the table and write out the weekly schedule since Stef has decided to go back to work at the hospital last week, she'll be working three days a week instead of five. I will be here with Francesca
There's gonna be a lot of changes
With Francesca being home full time
I'll be doing the distance learning course online for the university
Francesca will be working with the tutor who we hired, it's beneficial she gets back into her studies again so she doesn't fall behind. I have all the materials she's going to need for each subjects, Brandon will continue to stay with my dad until Francesca feels comfortable enough with him in the house again. Sometimes I feel like a bad mother for not having him here
But the therapist said till Francesca feels safe, I don't see her getting past everything she's been through right away. I know it's gonna some time and we don't wanna push her to far and set her progress back, we're going to have keep reassuring her and show her where not leaving. My mind keeps going back to why Brandon did what he did, l guess l'll never know what goes into a thirdteen year old boys mind. He's at a age when he's going to asking questions about sex and girls, l'm Dad is more equip to answer some of Brandon's questions
He will have if not already. We never wanted him to feel isolated from us
Even the social worker at the other hospital had her concerns about Brandon and Francesca living under the same roof together, would he ever hurt his baby sister l don't want that thought to enter my mind. We know siblings fight and argue at times,
After I finished getting the schedules
Written up l stick on the refrigerator
I wrote three pages so I will have a copy for my self, Francesca's tutor will be coming five days a week in the mornings and will work with her for three hours a day and in the afternoon she'll have physical therapy with Dr. Matthews for fours mon Thur Thursdays. I wonder what Stef is doing cause she hasn't came back down, at first we were gonna Francesca downstairs and then suggested we moved to the second floor. That way if she needed us for anything we'll be down the hall
The bed from the hospital fits perfectly in the spare room, Francesca still has her furniture in her bedroom. Stef brought a few things down such as some books
Her laptop, it's was already a flat screen TV in the guest room.
