I remember when I first awoke. While Amanda was snuggling around me, I noticed her putting my shirt on. I checked the time, and it was almost seven o'clock. In an hour, school would begin. I shifted my weight over to face her. While sleeping quietly, she was smiling. She was finally happy this time. She seemed extra happy to be with me.

"Babygirl, it's time to get up for school," I gently reminded her. She groaned because she didn't want to leave. I toyed with her hair for a few moments before she opened her eyes and began to chuckle. She grabbed the pillow and smacked me across the face.

"Amy!" I called. Then I realized I was yelling as Mom was preparing breakfast. She'll fall asleep quickly after I leave for school. Mom walked in and knocked on the door.

"Who's that voice over there, son?" Mom inquired.

"Nothing, Mom," I said aloud. I rolled out of bed and proceeded to take a brief shower, but first I unlocked the door. Mom seemed fragile as she stood there.

"Good morning, mom," I responded nervously, attempting to keep Amanda hidden from mom. Mom abruptly opened the door and crossed her arms. Amanda was putting her pants on, but she ultimately looked at my mother. The embarrassing moment had occurred.

"Did you sleep with a beautiful girl?" Mom inquired, a wide grin on her face. With a wink on her face, she crossed her arms.

"Really, Mom?" I said.

"Yes," she confirmed.

"Good morning, Mrs. Nathanson," Amanda said as she slid her shirt over her head.

"It's great to see you again, Amanda," mom replied. I leaned against the wall with one hand. I scarcely glance at her. I was too embarrassed to tell her, but she knew I hadn't broken my virginity.

"You should get your ass ready for breakfast before you go to school," mom suggested. "You are invited to join us for breakfast, Miss Keens."

"My girlfriend has to leave," I said. I believe I opened my mouth far too frequently. Amanda started laughing as mom after that. I shook my head and glanced at the floor.

"Girlfriend? What kind of girlfriend? "I thought..." Mom stepped in.

"Yes, I am officially dating Amanda Marie Keens," I said, an odd smile on my face. Mom was delighted because this was my first romance. Mom hugged me, and I went to hug her back. I was still in my boxer shorts, but that was OK.

Mom was talking incessantly with Amy while the three of us ate a delicious brunch. They already had an excellent friendship. Then there was a loud knock on the door. I assured Mom that I could handle it. I walked over to the door and opened it, and there it was. "What do you want this time, Mel?" I inquired of her.

"Look, I missed talking to you and picking on you, but my brother just left after I woke up late," Melanie said. She was dressed in a crop top and jammies. With a groan, I allowed her into the home.

"Melanie?" Amy summoned her. They were each staring at each other. I rolled my eyes and opted to do some dishes after breakfast. I didn't want to hear this nonsense about Melanie desiring me, but now they'd be questioning each other.

"Amanda?" Melanie added with a raised brow. She sneered and crossed her arms.

"What exactly are you doing at my boyfriend's house?" Amy stated.

"Boyfriend? Daxton, I thought you were single?" Melanie pondered.

"Good morning, Melanie," mom cut in since she didn't want to interrupt the conversation. We had to go, but Mel was the problem.

"Hello, Mrs. Nathanson!" Melanie stated as she switched the subject of the conversation. Mom smiled at these girls, but she was uncertain if she wanted to travel with us to school. Melanie agreed and smiled as she nodded her head. I could see the jealousy on her face as Amanda gave her a dead glare. As Amy remarked, they both loathe each other. I didn't have time for them to fight like cats. This was too early in the morning.
