A smile has never left his face since the start of the day. He is so happy to spend the second day of the week with her. He slowly turned to have a look at the woman sitting on the wooden chair and looking at the view. The scenery of the place is good and it has become perfect because of her.
"Good afternoon, Sir. What I can get for you?" He looked at the man who spoke, still wearing that wide splitting smile on his face. "Kanina ka pa nakangiti." The man continued. He was his friend and the owner of the place. "Girlfriend mo na? Nag-propose ka na? Or magpo-propose ka pa lang?" Mas lumawak ang ngiti ni Vincent at napailing nalang siya.
"We'll have a cup of hot chocolate, black americano for me, and 2 slices of blueberry cheesecake." He only said their orders.
"Got it. Pero mag kwento ka muna. Girlfriend mo nga? Pangungulit pa ng kaibigan niya.
"Hindi. " Matipid niya lang na sagot
"Wow. Julian Vincent Tan is taking it slow. Totoo ba 'yan?"
He glanced at Cat for a while and regarded his friend again.
"Wait. Have you already made your feelings and intentions clear?"
"We've only known each other for two months, ayoko naman siya biglain. She might not believe me and think otherwise."
"Hmm. Ang sa akin lang naman, secure your position bago ka pa maunan ng iba. She's a catch. I'm sure she has admirers other than you." He said. Vincent looked at him and then at the woman still keeping her eyes on the scenic view. He sighed and conveyed his next words.
"I can't rush her. Hindi ako pwede magmadali. Kaya I'm doing my best to stay present at every moment of her life as much as I can. The only thing I want now is to be a relevant person in her life. Okay na ako sa ganoon, sa ngayon." He turned to his friend again who was only listening to him with a smile on his face.
"Mukhang seryoso na nga talaga iyan." Sabi nito. Again, his eyes were fixated on her, as if mesmerized by just the way she walked.
"Umm. Hello. Naka-order ka na?" Tanong nito sa kanya.
"Oo. Nasabi ko na ang order natin. Bakit?"
Tanong nito. He was getting distracted by her beautiful face.
"May gusto ka i-order?" Tanong niya.
"I want to change sana my order. I saw in the menu kasi that they have tea and sandwiches."
"Yes, we also serve teas." Cat regarded him.
"Can I have English tea and Green Club Sandwich? Ay, iyan na ata ang order namin."
"Sure. One English tea and Green Club Sandwich. " He said with a smile on his face.
"Ah.. Okay lang to change? H-?" Vincent immediately spoke and smiled at her.
"Sa ibang customers ito." He said, making her smile at him as well.
"Okay. English tea and Green Club Sandwich nalang sa akin, please. Thank you."
"Copy, Ma'am," Sandro said, grinning also at them.
"By the way, my name is Sandro. Friend ako ni Vincent." And he offered his hand. She looked at him, then at Vincent then at him again.
