A Week later...

you'd just gotten done having lunch with Collei and so Tighnari sent you to look for something Important In the forest, It was a certain herb for medical purposes so It was an Important task, however he cautioned you that If you run into danger to use the flair and he'll come, so you packed your little bag full of things you needed like first aid and also little equipment before you left Gandharva Ville, heading Into the Avidya Forest as you looked at the map he'd given you starting through the brush as you made your journey to find the herb, and the herb you were looking for had little purple flowers that's petals would be used so you kept a lookout 

you stepped over roots of a tree, but then you halted as you collided with a vine which made you touch your forehead in frustration, you thought It would be efficient if you climbed up the vine up into the tree so you could see from above, but you hated that idea a lot

you shook your head as you continued on while looking at the map, brushing your braid from off your shoulder as you then looked up and around, after about five minutes past you stopped for a little break to drink some water from your water bottle, also having one of the Shawarma wraps that you'd made for something to eat and you happily enjoyed It, eating with glee until you finished and continued your trek further Into the forest as you came to a clearing, seeing what looked like a broken down ruin guard that was covered In moss and or foliage

"this must be from centuries ago" you said 

you looked It over again before you continued on through the clearing, just as you spotted something purple from the corner of your eye, and you saw It was the herb you needed, a smile came to your face as you rushed over to the flower like herbs, getting on your knees as you took out the things you needed from your pack as you put on your gloves, then carefully pulling up the amount of it that Tighnari needed before you made sure to leave the rest, packing it up as you brushed the dirt off your gloves and tucked it into your bag, 

you then stood up, but then you spun around as you heard growling coming from somewhere and you started feeling fear course through your body, and all of a sudden the source of the sound emerged from one of the bushes as you saw a large beast with sharp teeth and fur, you'd never heard of this animal before and you guessed this was why you should've paid more attention to Tighnari's creature course, but you knew what to do and what not to do 

you stood your ground as the creature started approaching, you knew you should summon your Claymore and use to but as a Forest Ranger to be you couldn't hurt a living creature, the creature drew In closer as you could see the intent to hurt you in it's eyes, you then took a step back and threw one of the pollen bombs that you'd gotten from Tighnari, now with your escape masked you made a run for It as you heard the creature let out a roar as it chased you 

you started thinking what to do right now, but then as you leapt over one of the rocks you felt yourself get caught on the branch, panicking as you tried to free yourself 

*No! No! No! I can't go out like this!*

you pulled and yanked, then soon getting yourself free as you started running once again but then the beast leapt over the rock and towards you, whipping around In horror as you then ducked down but then you felt a strong gust of wind, looking up to see the beast had been knocked back onto the ground and you looked around with your eyes landing on him

he had Indigo hair with Indigo eyes, wearing a large hat atop his head with dangling adornments and you could see an Anemo Vision hanging from his attire, but then he rushed past you In what looked like he was flying and he struck the beast using his Anemo energy.

which made it fly into a tree, before collapsing but It soon picked itself up and whimpered as It ran away back deep Into the forest, you then caught your breath as you looked at the man 

he fixed his hat, but then his eyes looked to you "What? did you hurt yourself"

you then came from your daze, "N...No I'm fine, Thank you for saving me"

he turned, "Don't mention It, really"

the strange man started walking away, and you grabbed your pack as you followed him 

"Wait!"

he looked back, "What is It?"

you smiled, "You haven't told me your name yet, you saved my life just now"

he let out a sigh, "I don't have one...I'm just a wanderer"

you were taken aback, "really? but who doesn't have a name?"

"Me, that's who now I have to get going I have somewhere to be, you should leave too"

you nodded, "y...yeah okay"

he started leaving once more but you rushed forward "I'm (Y/n)"

he paused his steps, touching his hat as he looked back "I'll remember that If I can"

just as you saw a bird approach him and he swatted at it but then It perched on him, he let out a sigh as he left the bird alone while continuing to walk away and you found yourself watching, before you headed off In the opposite direction heading back to Gandharva Ville.
