After that day you and Wanderer began your new relationship, Tighnari didn't know the truth about him but he did express his worry about you. though Cyno too gave his Opinion on the situation and he even approached Wanderer advising him to take good care of you, or else...well despite Wanderer not even flinching he promised that he'd never hurt you ever again. Which was good enough for the General Mahamatra who although It hurt to see you with another he was still happy for you, and supportive just like Tighnari. In all your years of being In Sumeru you hadn't Imagined that you'd meet a puppet and fall in love with him, but to you he was a human just like you were after all how could a puppet love which was what Wanderer thought. but It seemed to defy the odds and law's of nature but Wanderer didn't care about that as all he cared about was you, his beloved from the desert who accepted him and his past deed's.
It had been a few weeks since that Incident, and Nahida did have a word with him In which he expressed It was more of a scolding but she then gave her best wishes for you both in this life. but she also cautioned that you two would go through many more up's and down's,
Wanderer's lips curved, and he laced his hand with yours "So what? Even if a storm come's our way we'll be fine"
you smiled and gave his hand a squeeze, "Mhm, as long as we're together after all I promise to never let him be hurt again"
Nahida smiled and touched her heart, "Then what more Is there for me to say, No matter what you chose to do from now on I know you'll make the right choice's"
just then she beckoned you, and you bent down to her level as she whispered in your ear
Wanderer raised a brow, "what're you whispering about?"
Nahida giggled, "Nothing I was just telling her how excited you were to see her today"
Wanderer furrowed his brows as he looked elsewhere, but then he blushed crimson as he tried to hide behind his hat which made you giggle as you thought he was too cute
you peeked under his hat, "Kuni?"
"grrr...Don't look at me right now! stop ganging up on me with her"
you giggled and hugged him "Sorry, Sorry"
Wanderer continued to look upset but then as he saw your smile he calmed down,
he sighed, "Alright already...I'm not mad anymore"
Nahida came up to him, "Glad to hear It, so what'll you two do now?"
you started, "Oh I didn't think about it but-"
Wanderer pulled you along to follow, "Come on, let's go on one of those dates"
you smiled, "I guess that's his answer, though to be honest we haven't had a proper date yet"
"That's why I'm taking you on one now silly" he replied
you waved to Nahida as you left the Sanctuary together, heading out of the Akademiya as you went to Lambad's Tavern together where you shared a meal together. and you knew he already didn't need to eat but he wanted to enjoy food with you especially now that you were together, he wanted to enjoy many things with you going forward in this life
you got some of the Tandoori chicken and fed some to him, at first he was wondering why you wanted to do that but he then let you after you explained it was an affectionate gesture. so to him he still had much to learn about love while being In love he guessed
Wanderer rested a hand on his chin as he gazed at you, his lips then curved upwards
"you're such a goober, but you're my goober"
you were surprised, "Hm?"
"It's something I heard before, It mean's your silly and lovable"
you smiled and blushed, "Aww"
he reached over and held your hand, "Hey uh...I'm sorry, I'm sorry for all I did before"
you shook your head and gave his hand a squeeze, "It's all over now, I know you didn't mean to do It Kuni"
"No, It's been a few weeks since we got together but...I still have to say It, you honestly deserve so much better then someone like me"
"don't say that, Kuni you're just the one for me"
he looked down, he smiled "You're right...after all you taught me how to love and now I can give it to you in return"
you smiled warmly but then he leaned forward to kiss you, you returned the kiss before you parted as you continued enjoying your meal together.
