A few days went by after that and things were going well In Sumeru, but a big thing that happened recently was that It had rained after a days without it, and It seemed the whole of Sumeru flourished even more than before, you and the Wanderer continued meeting as usual with each time being even more memorable then the last and thanks to that evening In the sky, your fear of heights had slowly but surely become a memory all because of him. But lately when you were In his company those odd feelings continued to show up inside of him, he wanted to know why It was happening, but he'd known It was partly because of you that he'd come to have what seemed like a heart again after all these years without one, but Nahida told him he'd had a heart all along and that these feelings that he had were coming from a wonderful thing, when he asked what that was she told him he'd have to find that out for himself, which frustrated him.

The last time you were with Wanderer he told you that the Lesser Lord wished to come hang out with you two, In which you were surprised and also slightly honored, but then you got the fun Idea of arranging a picnic for the three of you to enjoy, what better way to have a good time 

and after preparing a few things in the kitchen at Gandharva Ville, you waited for Wanderer to come get you as he'd promised before you set off to the Lokapala Jungle, and he'd flew the both of you there as it was faster but Nahida was already way ahead of you both

and upon arrival Nahida was swinging on her Dendro swing, all the while she hummed to herself

"Oh there you are"

she hopped down, "I'm glad to see you made It safely"

Wanderer put you down as you carefully held the basket In your hands, you then walked over to Nahida as you greeted her but she told you to just relax and enjoy yourself today

and as the three of you settled on the grass, you handed out the Pita pockets that you'd made 

"Hmm, this is tasty" said Nahida

you smiled, "Thank you"

Wanderer nodded, "Yeah...I don't think I've tried this before"

"Collei's the one who taught me how to make them, I think I've gotten better"

Nahida smiled, "speaking of cooking did you know that Wanderer here knows how to"

you were surprised "Really?"

Wanderer blushed, "come on...."

"He does, and sometimes when he feels up to It he'll make something called Chazuke"

you were curious, "What is that?"

Wanderer swallowed his food, "It's a simple dish from Inazuma, It's something that I've known how to make for a very longtime"

"Oh, what's In It?"

Wanderer started, "you get some grilled fish and shred It up with some seaweed, and top It on top of rice with It swimming In tea" 

you nodded, "oh, it sounds interesting but I'd be open to trying It"

"In that case just ask me when, and I'll make It for you"

Nahida looked between you both with a smile on her face, you then served them some of the Tachin that you'd made on some metal plates In which they'd never tried it before, and after the meal you brought out the Baklava that you'd bought from the Grand Bazaar

"It's strange...I used to hate sweets before, but now I like them I guess" said Wanderer

just then you saw a little bird land on Wanderer's shoulder, and he let out a sigh

he tried to shoo It, "Go on now"

the bird didn't leave and then another one landed on him, "Hey!"

you smiled and started giggling, but then he calmed down as he accepted that they were there 

Nahida giggled, "Birds seem to like you a lot"

Wanderer sighed, "and I have no clue as to why"

just then Nahida's Dendro vision glowed as she smiled, which caused a bunch of flowers to grow all around you which made you look on in awe, much to Wanderer's annoyance

"The food was delicious, this is my thanks to you (Y/n)"

Nahida started to pick some of the pretty flowers and put together a flower crown, before she walked over and placed It atop your head which made a blush come to Wanderer's face

"Pretty..."

you looked at him, "Hm?"

"I said you look pretty!"

you were taken aback, but then a smile came to your face as you blushed "Thank you..."

Nahida smiled as she saw the contact between you two, even though she was the god of wisdom It didn't take long for her to see the signs and know that you adored each other, well that you adored him but the blooming love In Wanderer's heart was as clear as the sky

but then you gathered some flowers to try and make a crown for him, you didn't think it was good but upon seeing your disappointment Wanderer took it and placed it on his head

"It's nice, you made It after all"

you felt your heart flutter in your chest, and your heartbeat quickened In your chest but It only furthered as Wanderer rested his head upon your lap, and you didn't know what to do but then you relaxed as you gently started playing with his hair and It made him feel so relaxed

but then In the back of Wanderer's mind, *I've never felt so happy and cared for like this before...I think I might be starting to...no that's Impossible...It can never happen, not with the way I've sinned In the past...I have to put an end to this before I can't possibly let go*.
