Frisk groaned as they opened their eyes. They looked up through the giant hole they had found while exploring the caves of Mt. Ebott. They winced as they pushed themself up into a sitting position. Frisk's bones ached as they looked around, a sharp pain shooting through their head. They had fallen onto some pile. Frisk looked closer. It was wilted flowers. They seemed to have been yellow at one point, but now they were faded and brown. Frisk still didn't understand. The fall should have killed them, but here they were. Alive and with no clue how to get back.

Frisk scooted across the pile til they reached the end, where they carefully stood up, their legs shaking violently, threatening to give out.

Frisk's eyes had adjusted to the darker atmosphere and they turned their head to get a good look at their surroundings. It looked like a big room with the dead flowers being the center.

While scanning the room, Frisk noticed something. A door. At the far wall, there was a large door. Frisk slowly made their way to the large door and looked up at it. It seemed to have engravings of symbols all along the sides.

Frisk pushed on the old door. It didn't move. Frisk pressed their weight into it. The door moved slightly with a creak. Frisk continued pushing their weight into the old door until it opened enough for them to go through.

Behind the door was a smaller room that had no light. Frisk noticed the outline of another door at the far side of the black space. The light was peeking under the far door, no more than ten feet away.

Frisk moved across the room, which made them feel uneasy. They felt as if something was in the room with them. Frisk nervously looked around the room but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Their unease only grew, though.

They turned their attention back to the door and tried to push it. It felt like there might be something blocking it on the other side. When Frisk went to move it again, they felt a smell sting their nostrils. Cigarette smoke. It felt like a breath was blown onto them from behind. Frisk felt their heart start pounding in their chest. They could feel a presence standing behind them.

Frisk turned quickly, trying to catch whoever was behind them off guard. But, no one was there. The room was empty. Frisk's heart kept pounding in their chest as they looked around frantically. What had happened? They could swear that there was something there.

Not wanting to be in that room any longer, Frisk turned and pushed the door, which opened easily, nearly making them fall out.
