"Don't touch them," Frisk looked around at the sound of Gloom's voice and the large canine turned it's head, growling loudly.

Frisk looked up, as a quick movement caught their eye. A bone had flown at the large monster's head and stopped right before hitting them. The canine seemed to think while looking at the bone. They turned away, grabbed the bone out of the air while walking away.

Frisk stayed by the door, nervously looking around when they noticed that everyone had turned away. A nearby monster, an anthropomorphic rabbit, noticing Frisk's hesitation, pointed at the bar counter. Frisk looked at where the rabbit was pointing.

Gloom was slouched over the counter and it looked like she was holding onto a bottle, resting it on the counter.

Frisk walked through the bar, aware of some of the monsters glancing at them. When Frisk made it to where Gloom was sitting, they climbed onto the stool on to her right and sat down.

Gloom took a drink from the bottle she was holding, tilting her head back while grimacing a little. It was whiskey. Gloom put the bottle down roughly while putting her head down, resting it on her hand.

"I'm guessing Grim sent you to babysit me," Gloom sounded exhausted, she didn't even bother looking at Frisk.

"Ya, he was worried about you and wanted me to make sure you were ok," Frisk spoke carefully, not wanting to accidentally anger the skeleton.

"Pttf, I'm fine, I'm always fine," Gloom's voice shook a little as she laid her head down on the counter. "I'm just, fucking tired, I just need a break," Gloom raised her head back up and drank the rest of the bottle before putting it down and tapping her boney fingers on the counter a couple times.

A muscular fire monster, supposedly the bar tender, walked over and took the empty bottle and putting it aside while grabbing a full bottle of whiskey and putting it in front of the skeleton.

"Thanks Grillbs," Gloom nodded a thanks towards the fire monster and Grillby nodded back.

Gloom wasted no time opening the new bottle and raising it up, taking a long drink of it. Frisk noticed the light in her eye socket start quivering when the skeleton put the bottle back down.

Gloom glanced over at Frisk and waved Grillby back over, "Could ya get the kid a little something? Like fries or something? I don't fucking care," Gloom's words slurred a little bit as she put her head back down on the bar.

Grillby nodded and went into the back room for a bit before coming back with a basket of fries and putting it down in front of Frisk. Frisk smiled up at the fire monster and thanked them. The monster nodded at them before walking away, going to help another customer.

Frisk took a fry and tasted it. Just like everything else they had tried here, it tasted great. While eating the fries, Frisk looked back over at Gloom, who was now looking at her phone and was resting her head on the whiskey bottle.

Frisk pushed the basket over towards Gloom who looked down at it.

"Nah, I'm good kid," Gloom nudged the basket back toward Frisk.

Frisk pushed it closer to Gloom who chuckled a little before pushing back once more.

The two kept pushing it back and forth for a while until Gloom finally didn't left it.

"Alright fine, ya little brat, I'll have some," Gloom smiled a little as she took a handful of the fries out and began eating them while still laughing softly. "You're a persistent little one aren't ya," Gloom reached out, with a salty hand, rubbed Frisk on the head who began trying to swat the hand away. Gloom laughs as she grabs the bottle again and takes another drink.

"When I finish this, we can head back to the apartment, if ya want to. I'm feeling better now," Gloom wiped her hands on her pants before scratching the back of her neck a little.

Frisk shook their head. They didn't want to go back quite yet. Gloom tilted her head a little.

"Oh? Do you want to explore or something then?" Gloom looked at Frisk curiously while smirking a little.

Frisk nodded their head. They wanted to see what else this city had.

"Alright, that's cool with me, gives me more time to think of an apology," Gloom looked a little guilty before raising the bottle once more.

Frisk finished off the fries as Gloom finished off the bottle of whiskey. When they finished, Gloom waved Grillby over and told him to put the cost her tab before handing him a twenty dollar bill. It was hard to read the fire monster's expression, but Frisk thought that he looked happy.

"Alright, let's go kiddo," Gloom spun around in her chair before hopping down and walking towards the door. Frisk quickly followed in suit and went out into the snow with Gloom.
