Frisk's vision cleared, but their head kept rushing and they couldn't focus. Frisk felt a hand grab their shoulder, holding onto them, trying to steady them.

"It's alright, I felt like you probably do when Gloom teleported me for the first time," Grim spoke quietly as he walked Frisk over to something and sat them down.

Frisk heard footsteps as Grim walked away. Closing their eyes, Frisk tried to get their head to stop spinning. Frisk heard a quiet sound of water running, then footsteps coming back over.

"Here, some water might help you out a little," Frisk reopened their eyes and looked up at Grim, who was holding a glass of water towards them. Frisk carefully took the glass and put it to their lips, taking slow sips of it. Grim stepped over to the side and sat down next to Frisk.

Frisk's head began to clear more and by the time they finished the glass, their head was clear once more.

Frisk looked around this new location and noted that it looked like a small apartment. They were sitting on a couch, there was another chair nearby, a kitchen across the room, and two doors. One was by the kitchen and the other, on the left wall.

"Do you feel better now?" Grim asked with a concerned voice while looking at Frisk.

"Y-ya I think I'm alright now, I'm just confused, th-that's all," Frisk spoke softly while still looking around the apartment. There were cracks all over the walls, it looked like someone had punched the walls by the shape and height of the majority of cracks.

"I can imagine how confused you must be," Grim smiles and laughs a little. "I mean, you didn't get a very warm welcome. You did get beat pretty bad by my sister after all, though, she didn't want to kill you, which is a good thing,"

Frisk looked at the large skeleton who seemed worried, "She didn't want to kill me? Then why did she attack me?" Frisk wondered how much Grim would tell them about this place and what had just transpired.

"Of course not, if she wanted you dead, she would have killed you immediately. She wouldn't have bothered messing with you first." Grim shook his head a little before looking back at Frisk. "She may be ruthless and dangerous, but she's fair. She doesn't toy with her victims like a cat, I don't know what her reason was to fight you, but she didn't want to kill you, maybe rough ya up a little, but that's it.

"I only intervened because I had been looking for her and judging by where I found her, who knows what she could have been on," Grim sighs softly as he turns to look forward, resting his head on his hands.

"She could have been on something?" Frisk inquired. She sure seemed like she was on something, messing with me like that.

Grim nods a little bit. "Ya. That dark room you were in before coming out, she likes to go there and take some fucked up crap sometimes. She won't tell me what though, but I can tell when she's on it," Grim scratches his head a little bit. "You got lucky though, she seemed to just be there for a smoke break,"

Frisk wondered more about that female skeleton, and after a little moment of silence, asked quietly. "Why is her threat level a 12?"

Grim seemed to tense at the question, but after a moment of thought, leaned back and began talking.

"Well, she, has killed a lot of monsters. Things happened in the past that went out of our control and dust was spilled," Grim looked uncomfortable, but continued. "She didn't kill them for no reason, she had every right to kill them, she doesn't kill the innocent and she never kills without a reason."

Frisk wanted Grim to elaborate, but when they opened their mouth, the skeleton held up his hand.

"I'm sorry, little one. I really don't feel like I should talk anymore about that. I think she should tell you more when she feels like it," Grim sighed softly before getting off the couch and walking over to the kitchen. "Do you want something to eat? We don't have a big variety of food, but we have quite a bit of you would like to look." Frisk could tell that Grim was forcing himself to sound more cheerful.

Frisk got off the couch and walked up next to Grim who had laid out a mix of different ramens, some left over casserole, and some crackers. Grim looked a little embarrassed.

"Sorry we don't have a big variety, the only variety we really have is with the ramen, Gloom loves that shit." Grim chuckles softly while rubbing the back of his neck a little.

Frisk looked at the food and found an interest in the casserole. It looked quite good. It seem to have a mix of vegetables, a lot of cheese, round pasta balls, and other seasonings.

Grim seemed to notice their interest in it and gleefully said, "Here, let me warm it up for you," Grim grabbed the container and put it into the oven to warm it up and while being crouched down and got something out of one of the cabinets. It was two packs of hot chocolate. He quickly got a pot of water onto the stove and turned it on.

Frisk couldn't help, but smile while watching the large skeleton. He seemed happy again that he could get her something to eat.

After a bit, the cocoa and food was ready and the two went back back to the couch and sat down. Grim with his cocoa and Frisk with theirs and the serving of casserole.

The two sipped the cocoa and Frisk found that it tasted very good, it had the perfect amount of sweetness in it. They enjoyed it as the casserole was cooling.

They had tried to take a bite already and couldn't feel their tongue as a consequence.

Frisk looked out the window and noticed for the first time, that it was snowing.

Grim noticed Frisk looking out of the window smiled embarrassed, "I guess I forgot to tell you, we aren't in the area we once we in, The Dead City. We're in Snowy City now. It's the district right beside it. You can probably see how it got it's name, heh."

Frisk looked out the window with amazement. They were in a tall apartment building that overlooked the city. Frisk could see other creatures walking down in the snow, going in and out of department buildings that lined the streets.

It looked almost beautiful outside.

Frisk took another sip of their cocoa while still admiring the view. It was almost peaceful. It reminded them of home.

While reminiscing, Frisk didn't notice that Grim had gotten up and was now walking around the kitchen, cleaning up the ramen that was put everywhere and left one out, before coming back to the couch.

"That's why me and Gloom made this place our home, it was the most peaceful district and area," Grim was smiling happily when he joined Frisk by the window.

The two stayed by the window for a while, pointing out monsters, and making games such as counting how many big and small there was compared to each other.

A few hours went by and Frisk had fallen asleep. Grim had lifted up Frisk who had finished their drink and food and laid them down on the couch, covering them with a blanket and putting a pillow under their head before going into his own room and getting ready for bed.

Before falling asleep, Grim laid in bed worrying about his sister, nothing was heard from her and he tried calling with no answer. The worries swirled around before he finally passed out asleep.
