Level 14. Strong attack. Weak defense. Half health. Utterly exhausted.

"Gloom," Grim's voice was quiet. "Why did you kill them?"

"It was either me or them bro," Gloom spoke in a monotone voice, her eyes still dark.

"You could have spa-" Grim was cut off by a low growl coming from Gloom.

"No, I couldn't have, to spare, the other side has to spare too, and why the hell would they spare me?!" Gloom snapped angrily as her eye lit up once more.

Grim looked surprised at the outburst and let go of his sister before standing up."Then you should have let me sta-" he began to speak again, but was cut off by Gloom's angry shout.

"Like hell I was going to let you get hurt! I CAN'T protect anyone in a fight, you fucking know that Grim! And I was not going to let the human just be there in the middle of it too! Even if I just teleported them away, they needed someone to stay with them!" Gloom was shaking slightly as she yelled at her brother, who backed up a little. "I did my best, ok?! I didn't want to fucking fight, but it happened! You know how I feel about killing and you KNOW I wouldn't have done it without reason!" Gloom's eye glowed brighter as she kept shaking while glaring at her brother fiercely.

"B-but there must have been another optio-"

"No, there fucking wasn't!! Now that is ENOUGH!" As Gloom shouted the last word, her eye changed to a red color and sharp, red bones bristled from the ground around where she stood.

Frisk's heart pounded as they looked at the pure rage coming from the smaller skeleton. Frisk looked quickly at Grim who had backed up and had fear across his face.

Gloom breathed heavily, then. realizing what she had done, her breath changed to rapid. Her eye changed back to purple and the bones disappeared as she shakily began taking puffs of her vape until her eye was swimming again and smoke was all around her.

"I-I need a drink, I'm goin' to G-Grilby's," Gloom spoke shakily before snapping her fingers.

She was gone again.

Grim seemed shaken up and looked at Frisk with a sad look. Frisk didn't have anything to say, but got up and hugged the larger skeleton's arm which seemed to calm him, if only slightly.

"I-I need to clean things up, can you go check on Gloom? She'll be at the counter at Grillby's, I'm sorry for asking this of you, but, I need someone to keep an eye on her right now. Please?" Grim was shaking slightly while looking down at Frisk, who nodded an ok at them. Grim smiled a little.

"Thank you little one, I'll show you the way down," Grim moved to the entrance and opened the door for Frisk.

When Frisk reached the bottom of the tall apartment building, they got out of there elevator before walking out into the cold, snow covered street and say the sign for Grillby's across the road.

Frisk walked to the front doors and stood outside a bit before pushing the doors open and walking in.

As soon as Frisk had stepped in, monsters turned to look at them with hostile looks that caused Frisk's heart to pound.

A monster, nearly as tall as Grim, began to approach Frisk. They were shirtless, but wore a black leather jacket, black jeans, and a belt with a large gold buckle. Tattoos were all over the canid looking monster, who growled and bared their teeth down at Frisk.

Frisk felt a very bad feeling at the large monster began to reach down towards them.
