Frisk flew past the large spider that moved smoothly out of the way before finding themself plunging down between the two tall buildings.
"Kid!!" Gloom's shout seemed muffled as Frisk fell and everything seemed to slow down while they were watching the ground get closer and closer with every second that passed. I'm really just going to die now, after everything.
Frisk felt nothing as they plummeted downward. Not sad, angry, or happy. They just felt nothing at all. Frisk could almost smile while falling though. It felt strange, but Frisk felt like they shouldn't worry.
Frisk felt something ram into their back and boney arms wrap around them tightly which made everything speed up back to reality. Frisk looked down at the ground that was rapidly approaching and quickly grabbed the skeleton's arms back in fear.
Frisk felt a moment of being light headed and everything spun for a bit as everything darkened. Everything was suddenly back as soon as it was gone and Frisk was shaking from the near death experience.
"That was fucking reckless kid, I just wanted you to, like, cut the web and jump over to me, but damn, I guess you had other plans," Gloom laughed nervously as they were shaking a little as well and was still holding onto Frisk subconsciously. "Though, I can respect that kid, you're pretty damn brave and I can respect that shit," Gloom smirked a little as she shoved Frisk off onto the floor before standing up quickly.
Frisk looked around where they now were. It seemed to be a hotel room. There was two beds, a bathroom, mini fridge, and a closet. Just a simple, but fancy looking, hotel room.
"Also, now you see why I keep one teleport for emergencies," Gloom chuckled a little before yawning tiredly and collapsing onto a bed. "I'm fucking beat, shit," the large skeleton stretches as she pulls out her phone and closes her empty eye. "I need to sleep if I want to get any energy back, you can do what ever the hell you want in here kid, you can sleep too, stay up, you could fucking party for all I care, you won't wake me. What ever really."
Frisk watches as Gloom puts her arm over her head and she yawns again before peeking out at Frisk.
"Well, you can do what ever you'd like, except leave. I've had this room made special so that I'm the only one who can unlock it, so you're stuck til I wake up, for reasons that you should know kid," Gloom rolls her eye as she closes her good eye and seemed to relax before dozing off at once, still stretched out.
Frisk felt very tired as well. Frisk climbed onto the other bed, laid down, and looked at the ceiling. This room was different, it had a strange peace and it felt safer than anywhere else Frisk had been. Everything else had been so chaotic, so it felt nice to get a small break. Frisk knew there wasn't any danger here and there wouldn't be.
As Frisk laid there for a bit, they could feel themself start to doze off a little, everything fading into a peaceful black.
Until, Frisk could feel they were being watched.
Frisk opened their eyes again except they couldn't see anything. They felt like they were floating, but they couldn't see anything.
Frisk spun around in this empty void and looked around. This is just a dream, right? Frisk kept looking around until they felt a cold hand close on their shoulder.
Frisk whipped around to face what ever had touched them. A pair of glowing red eyes met theirs. Frisk recoiled in shock as the creature grabbed hold of both shoulders.
"You know that she's just leading you on right? She's going to betray you the chance that she gets, her reason to keep you alive is to try and kill you for ruler and scientists in the end." The creature had a sickly, sweet voice and it got closer as it spoke.
Is this thing talking about Gloom? She wouldn't do that, why would she save me those times if she's just going to kill me?
"You're an idiot for thinking that Gloom is your friend. You mean nothing to her, yes she saved you, but she did it to gain your trust. She will try to kill you in the end, so it's better to just kill her now, first, while she's vulnerable." The creature had a wide red grin form while pulling Frisk even closer to it.
"N-no I won't," Frisk felt fear going through them as the spoke to the strange entity.
The creature seemed a little surprised and glared at Frisk. "Oh? No? Well, soon, you'll have to fight her, just remember what I said and warned you about." The creature quickly went forward and hit Frisk which sent a chill through them. Frisk felt pain shooting through them as it felt like something was tearing them up from the inside. Tears streamed down Frisk's face as they tried to scream, but it felt like they were under water and nothing came out.
While Frisk was struggling through the pain, they felt a hand roughly grab their shoulder and shake them.
