Frisk squinted and blinked as their eyes tried to adjust to the light outside the room. After a few seconds, their eyes adjusted to the light, and they took a few steps into the room.
It looked like an alleyway. When looking farther out, Frisk could see buildings at the end of it.
Something was wrong though. Everything was...broken. There were cracks across the walls, places where it looked like a powerful force had hit it and destroyed parts of the walls. Frisk felt uneasy, looking at the state that the alleyway was in.
Something felt wrong with this place.
Frisk looked back at the door. There wasn't any way they could go back. They had to go forward. Maybe, there was a way out of this strange place, or someone out there willing to help. Frisk took a deep breath and turned back to the alley, and stepped farther out while shutting the door behind them.
They felt determined. They were ready for what there was to come.
