Nothing happened.

Frisk opened their eyes and saw that the bones were gone and Gloom was crumpled in front of them. Frisk was alarmed. Is she ok? Is this another trap? Frisk reached out to touch the skeleton and flinched as the skeleton looked up at them. Tears were free falling more than before from the skeleton's eyes and she was smiling while chuckling.

"God damn it, I can't kill you. I mean, you've never done anything wrong. Damnit, I'm a shitty person." Gloom was laughing more as tears kept going down her face as she leaned her head back while putting her hand to her forehead. "I can't kill you kid, it would go against what I do and hell, Grim would never forgive me if I did. Why did I even think of helping those shitheads? Besides, it's not like you would be...actually gone if you died," Gloom used her hand to wipe away the tears as she stared at nothing, still laughing quietly.

Frisk felt sad, watching the skeleton cry and they took out the little box they had with the cookies. They were a little crushed, but Frisk held one out to Gloom who looked a little confused.

"Why are you offering me this kid? I just tried to fucking kill you, why are you being nice?" Gloom kept laughing as tears kept falling. "I don't deserve anything, you should probably just leave before Gaster finds out," Gloom sniffled a little while wiping her face roughly.

Frisk stayed put and kept the cookie out until Gloom reluctantly took it. Gloom held it in her hand a little before taking a bite of it. She was looked down and her eyes had went dark.

"I'm sorry kid," Gloom's voice was sad as she ate the cookie. Frisk reached out and rubbed the skeleton's head for a bit. Frisk thought a little bit before moving closer and giving the skeleton a hug.

Gloom seemed to not know what to do for a bit, but hugged Frisk back.

"Good luck kid," Frisk felt the skeleton ruffle their hair before the now familiar rush went through their head and the skeleton was gone. Frisk looked around and found they were at the end of the large hall. Large bones moved up to block the exit and Frisk could only look through them to see Gloom still sitting down where she was.

The skeleton stood up and turned to look at Frisk. Gloom flashed a peace sign and a wide smile before there was a slight glitch where she was standing.

She was gone.

Frisk couldn't help it. They feel bad for the skeleton she had only really gotten to know.

Frisk turned around where the skeleton had teleported them and began walking down the hallway to where the ruler of this whole city would be.

The true final fight was about to begin.
