Frisk watched Gloom closely as they walked through the halls of the lab. She had taken out her vape and was puffing on it every little bit, more than Frisk had ever seen her do before. There was a nervous energy coming off of her, but she seemed a little bit calmer than before she had pulled out her vape.

"I don't like how there's no one in the halls, there's something weird going on," Gloom looked around a bit before closing her good eye, leaving the scarred eye open. She reopened her good eye and she seemed more on edge. "There's no one here,"

"Well then maybe we can get through without incident-" Frisk felt a little hopeful, but stopped as Gloom shook her head. The skeleton didn't look at Frisk, she just looked at the opposite wall.

"No, there will be incident for sure, something is planned and they want this building empty except for you and me. They're expecting something if it's empty. They don't want...anyone getting killed." Gloom took a huge puff of her vape and blew the smoke out of her eye socket. "I need for you to watch behind us, I'm going to be looking at everything ahead of us and I can't watch behind us too, tell me if there's anything out of place."

Frisk nodded and began looking back periodically. They kept moving forward and when Frisk looked back after a while, Frisk saw something go behind a wall which caused them to freeze. Gloom seemed to notice they stopped and quickly turned to look as well.

"Gaster..." Gloom took a couple deep breaths before taking another hit. "Gaster, I know you're there, just come out."

A tall figure slid around the corner. They looked similar to a skeleton. They had two large cracks on their face. Frisk thought the outfit looked strange and looked closer. It was a long robe, but also a straight jacket, keeping the monster's arms against it's self. The left eye was stitched up and one of the cracks was above it. Frisk could see an eye looking through the crack. They were also smiling so widely that it sent chills down Frisk's spine.

"It took so long for you to return subject D1-S," the voice was hard to understand, it being raspy and seemingly full of static.

Frisk watches as Gloom's eye dark goes at the title she is called by.

"Your work is satisfactory however, you seemed to have taken your time bring the human here, though, the time frame that was taken will be overlooked and you are forgiven," two large hands formed over the figure's head and eyes formed in the holes in the middle. Frisk looked over at Gloom, wanting some sort of reassurance that Gloom would protect them from this strange monster. Frisk felt a chill run down her spine though, as she looked at Gloom, who was looking down, the emotion drained from her face.

Frisk backed up a little. Did Gloom bring me here to him? No, she wouldn't have done that, would she? Frisk felt confused and kept backing up before they felt a presence behind them.

"I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen to me when I warned you about her." Frisk heard the sickly sweet voice they had heard before in their dream and their heart began to pound hard. "Now look at where it got you, you're about to be delivered into the same freak's hands that she was an experiment to. You can either except that, or let me help you, your choice Frisk."

Gaster was staring at Frisk with a look of interest as the voice kept trying to convince Frisk to let them help. Frisk's jaw quivered and they shook their head, turned, and ran down the hall.

"Stop them D1-S," Frisk heard the cold voice of the scientist as they ran and they heard the sound of whooshing air coming from behind. Frisk looked back to see Gloom's arm extended and bones coming right for them.

The bones were slower than when Gloom had previously fought and Frisk was able to easily dodge them. Frisk ran faster until she found saw an opening at the end of a hall so they turned and ran down towards the light.

It was strangely quiet as Frisk made it to the end of the hall.

Outside of the hall was another, except it was large and open, there was barbed wire around bars that were in the windows and there were cracks all over the cement walls, tile floor, and ceiling. On the outside of the bars was more buildings and pools of lava. It was hot outside inside of this hall. It was so much different than any other hall in the lab.

Frisk heard the sound of cracking behind them then a deafening smashing sound which made them jerk around. Large bones had came up through the ground and were blocking the hall that they had just came from. Frisk felt something standing behind them.

"Don't you know how rude it is the run by a good friend?" Chills went through Frisk as they heard the familiar voice of the skeleton right behind them. Frisk turned around to face Gloom. Her eyes were black and she was holding onto her large axe. "We had fun kid, but I'm afraid that your final fight will have to be with me, sorry for dragging you along kid. We had fun, thanks for giving me a good time," A smile went onto her face as she looked up at Frisk. Her eye flashed a red color as tears were going down her face.

Frisk looked up at the skeleton who had protected them and accompanied them through their journey. Frisk didn't want to hurt their friend, but knew that they had no choice. Two large bone knives appeared on the ground in front of Frisk and they picked them up before going into a fighting stance.

This was it. Frisk felt what ever was the strange entity from before somewhere behind them. Frisk could feel the creature's eyes burning into their back. Frisk tried to shake it off as they looked back at the skeleton and they gripped the knives tighter. I have to fight, I have no choice.

Frisk felt determined.
