Frisk felt a fast stream of air blow past them then a loud cracking noise and they opened their eyes to look at what had happened. Frisk saw the noise was a wall of bones that had risen up and the large spear was sticking through a part of it before it disappeared, leaving behind a cracked hole in the bones.

"I ask one thing of you, and you fuck it up," Frisk recognized the cold voice of the skeleton. Frisk turned to look up at the Gloom with a nervous smile before feeling confused. Gloom's good eye was closed and the empty one was open.

I thought she can't see out of that eye- Frisk's thought was cut off as the skeleton suddenly reached out to the side, creating another wall of bones to her side as spears came flying at the both of them. Wait, is Gloom is protecting herself...and me?

Gloom chuckled quietly while wiping away some of the rain on her skull, "Though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't like that when I was your age, kid. But right now isn't the greatest time to talk, we will discuss this shit after I get done with Undying." Gloom had a small smirk on her face as she turned around and waved a her left hand, summoning her axe. Gloom then lowered the wall of bones to face Undying.

"Sooooo, you've finally made it to the party, you traitor!" Undying growled as she clenched her fists. "You must be a real idiot if you're protecting them," Undying made a hard throwing motion which sent a flurry of spears towards Gloom.

Gloom spun the axe quickly with one hand and knocked the spears out of the way, before slamming the handle down onto the ground when done. Gloom cocked her head to the side in amusement while grinning widely as she tossed a narrow bone backwards that Frisk nearly dropped.

"Actually, I'd like to say I'm a, numbskull," Gloom snickered a little as Undying rolled their eyes with annoyance.

"Oh, fuck me," Undying growled as she made a hard throwing motion, sending spears in from all angles.

Gloom used the axe to knock most of the spears out of the air and the ones the axe couldn't reach, she sent bones out to meet them in the air which broke both the spear and the bones in a pop of purple and blue magic.

"Nah, I'd rather not," Gloom seemed to be enjoying the altercation as she twirled a small bone in her free hands before flicking it towards Undying. It hit the fish monster and seemed to annoy her as she caught it in her hand.

Frisk looked at Gloom confused. Was she just trying to make Undying more angry? Frisk watched as the grin grew larger on the skeleton's face and low laugh emerged.

Frisk heard a shout come from the fish monster and quickly looked over in her direction. The bone was now purple in color and it seemed to be stabbed through Undying's hand. Undying was trying to pulled the bone out, but she couldn't.

Frisk looked at Gloom, who's eye was glowing brightly and was still laughing quietly. She's doing something that's really hurting Undying. Frisk watched as Gloom raised her hand up. The smile was gone in an instant, replaced by a serious look.

"Listen Undying, you've been a good friend and all, but you're in my way," Gloom shrugged as she flicked a hand towards Undying, sending a wave of purple bones towards the monster. Undying growled in pain as she was hit by the bones and retaliated with spears that were aimed at Gloom and Frisk.

Gloom quickly out of a dome made of ribs around herself and Frisk, before dropping it after the attack. "Hell, I never even wanted to fight you, but here we are, because you decided to meddle in my business," Undying used a spear to block all the bones that flew at her, but several still hit her in the chest which made her stumble back.

Undying seemed to still push harder and the mechanical eye turned red as she sent a large amount of spears right at Frisk at an alarming speed. Frisk felt herself be picked up and Gloom used the axe to knock all the spears from the air while she seemed to be moving to her music. Why does she seem so relaxed, I mean she still has her headphones on.

Undying ran at Gloom which took the skeleton off guard, but was quickly taken into stride as Gloom raised her axe up to block the spear being held by Undying. Gloom twirled the axe and did a quick swing upward to hit Undying in the chest with the blade. Undying reached down and grabbed the axe and lifted it up before throwing it at the building nearby, which slammed the skeleton into the wall as well.

A loud crack echoed through the space as the skeleton's head hit the wall and and Frisk's heart sank as they were let go and they fell to the ground. Undying walked slowly toward the skeleton and grabbed Gloom roughly by her coat with one hand and held her up. Gloom was half Undying's size. Frisk felt a sense of dread as she could see cracks running along the back of Gloom's head, where it had hit the wall.

"If a little pipsqueak like you thinks they can beat me, then you better lighten up before I crush your skull for real," Undying growled angrily at the small skeleton who's eyes were closed.

"I mean my skull is pretty rattled how it is," Gloom chuckled as she opened her eyes. She seemed to be struggling for breath and was shaking. Frisk watched as Undying's shoulders relaxed. Wait, Gloom wouldn't just give up, there has to be something she's planning.

"Your puns are as revolting as you are, I wish I could simply kill you how it is-" Gloom held up one hand which stopped Undying mid sentence.

"You didn't let me finish," Gloom's light flickered in her eye as she looked at Undying, who looked annoyed.

"I was going to say, even though my skull is rattled, I know one thing, I don't think I can beat you," Gloom's shaking stopped as Undying made a smug smile and closed her eyes, looked proud of herself. Gloom grinned widely while chuckling softly. Her eyes went dark.

"I  k n o w  t h a t  I  c a n."

Undying reopened her eye's quickly, but it was too late. Gloom had swung back a little before kicking Undying square in the chest which knocked the large fish monster to the ground. Gloom stared coldly at Undying as she put something up to her mouth and red smoke rose up around her, swirling in strange patterns. Gloom quickly rose up her hand before throwing it down which caused bones to fly down towards Undying. Frisk could see the fear and anger in Undying's face as she tried to block the attack, but failed as the bones impaled her arms before her chest, breaking right through her armor.

Gloom walked slowly towards the monster that was having trouble breathing and looked down at her before summoning something that Frisk recognized. It was the little skull lighter that Gloom has in Snow City, except this time, it was huge. It's mouth opened which summoned a ball of light in it. Red smoke was coming from the large skull's mouth and it's eye was blood red.

Gloom is going to kill her. No! I can't just let her do that. Frisk ran towards the monster pair just as Gloom clenched her fist, her grin grew wider and she began to hold her hand out.
