"Need to finalize one last design,it will take fifteen minutes,wait for me" saying that raghav walked off to his cabin.
After a while we head out of the office towards the elevator located at the corner,we took elevator to the ground floor.pallavi got inside first and raghav walks in stand next to her and he was throughly engaged in his phone entire ride. Elevator dings opening on the ground floor.we get off the elevator and walked towards his car.short walk made in a comfortable silence.
Raghav took the driver seat and pallavi slipped herself in the passenger seat as they ride in complete silence.on reaching destination raghav parked the car and before he could step off pallavi asked "are you planning to go out in this attire?" Raghav looked at himself and asked her "why not".
"Raghav we are here to have a street food,its not one of your business dinner,if you ask me,I would suggest you to let go off that coat" saying that she looked up at him waiting for his response
He glared at her but without saying anything he took off his coat and said "if you have a intrest to look at me without coat,you could tell me directly,no need to make some excuses" rolling her eyes,she refrained from commenting as she stepped out of the car and raghav trailed behind her
There was huge crowd,nandini informed where they were waiting,raghav and pallavi blend in among the crowd as they fight way to the destination.he started to walk faster and pulling her wherever he could find a space to walk. when they reached the destination they saw they are holding each other hands.pallavi snatched her hand off him
Raghav looked surprised,like he had not realized he was holding her hand.but he managed to collect himself as they met nandini and suresh
They went to the very first shop for a filter coffee,which was one of the famous beverages in banglore.
Suresh took them to the very next place,which was famous dosa center.surprisingly all of them appreciate food and there conversation was all about food,this outing kind of plus point as it was improving their bond.
Raghav paid for the food as they moved to the next counter,where they encountered suresh college friends.suresh completed his studies three years back and started working for raghav immediatley after that.he usually bump into them on weekends,he encounters one or two person.today he could see most of his friends, there were around ten people.
It seems they planned this week back and even invited him,but somehow he missed it and good part is he made it unknowingly. He introduced his friends with them.raghav and nandini became fast friend with the group.nandini as she was of similar age and her energy was matching with theirs. As far as raghav his intrigued personality attracts young generation,especially ladies.
Pallavi was enjoying their conversation when suresh stood next to her and said,"I am wondering are they my friends or theirs." Pallavi laughed at his words and said "it's a quality every one can not have."
Suresh checked with her can they join them.
Pallavi hesitated and said she would prefer strolling around with less crowd.suresh looked dissapointed and asked "do you mind if I go with them for some time".
Pallavi insisted "you should go and enjoy with them and not to bother about her" He thanked and joined back the group
Pallavi could see,nandini already exchanging her number with some of the ladies,she looked at her and requested her could she go with them as she enjoyed spending time with them if she do not mind.
The group tried to convince raghav abd pallavi to join them ,but raghav outright rejected it.
Nandini reached pallavi and whispered in pallavi's ear and said "I am leaving raghav with you,please take care of him from these staring women around and if they even try to flirt with him inform them he is taken or better call me I would come back handle the matter" saying this she hugged pallavi and said"We will be back in a some time" as she slowly maneuvered suresh away,making a be line for their waiting new friends
He should feel more at ease now that atleast two of his problem were atleast five hundred meter away from him.but pallavi has not got a chance to enjoy her food properly that made him felt sorry for her
"While they are at having food,why do not we have banglore special gobi munchri" He said looking at her.the smile she gave him almost blinding as she moved towards the stoll.
They ordered single gobi,raghav was holding the plate as they started enjoying the food.
Pallavi said "we should visit the place very often.its a therapy for banglore busy life" raghav smiled at her and said "that is his plan as well".
They almost finished the plate and left with last bite.Pallavi might have thought,I am planning to take the last bite of gobi,she quickly grabs it and swallowed it in a go and smiled like a child that got away with stealing.
He was taken surprise by her.he laughed and said "we could order one more plate if you want" He said to her.she shook her head saying she had enough and moving past him to get water.she was about drink water but slipped off her hand spilled all over.
Raghav quickly stepped back,water spilled on small portion of his shirt,pallavi took a tissue paper and started to dab his shirt where water spilled.raghav restrained her hand and saying he will take care he stepped aside
Raghav walked out of the shop and stood at the corner,when he was with pallavi his behaviour changes completely.some how he was managing the things ,but when she got closer to him and started dabbing his shirt,his heart started beat faster and he felt belonging to some one,if he would have stayed back for a minute more he would have embraced her.shaking his head,he pulled himself together but was not able shake this feeling off
After a long time raghav returned to notice pallavi was not at where he left earlier. He looked around and saw her at the other end of the stoll,he approached her "There you are, I thought I lost you" raghav trails off as he takes in the scene between pallavi and the stranger,a muscle in raghav jaw begins to tick as he grabs her hand moved her aside and placed himself between stranger and pallavi
Sensing tension pallavi intervined "raghav whenever I had masala food,will get hiccups,generally I would have spoonful of sugar to stop it,he was just offering me a sugar before you turned up" she informed while having hiccups
Raghav narrowed at the stranger,when he was about to get a sugar,he pulled pallavi next to him and leaned down and kissed her on the cheek
"Shock is also a therapy to stop hiccups" looking at both pallavi and stranger stunned face ,he lead her out of the stoll to the next stoll,where they were selling some other snacks
It took a while for them ,what happened earlier to settle in,as they study each other in stunned silence. He was as surprised as her.
Nandini called her from far end of the road,Wordlessly pallavi hurried towards nandini and suresh who were approaching them
