Raghav was feeling sleepy after taking medicine,so he slept on pallavi's lap in a couch. Pallavi glanced at his face while scrolling through photos,he looked calm in his sleep.she picked the duvet next to the couch,put it on him.
"you are my life" she was surprised with his words earlier,she was delighted with his words but she did not want to gauge the meaning behind his words as she does not know what their future holds.putting a hold on her running thoughts,she started scrolling through her mobile again, when she come across a photo which shocked her
Raghav stirred in his sleep,after a second or so opened his eyes and saw pallavi.she was so indulged in her iPad she did not realize he was awake,so he took the opportunity to observe her and enjoying changes in her expression after seeing every photos.she was awestruck when she swiped to the particular photo,curiously he asked "what happened,why are you so surprised"
Pallavi was so lost in the photos,she almost forgot raghav was sleeping on her lap.when he spoke ,she got startled "raghav you scared me" she said Heaving a sigh of relief.
Pulling himself up "you are the one,who always lost in thought and blame me, when I just wanted to hear your voice" smiling at her He stood up and walked to the kitchen to get some water
Meanwhile pallavi quickly pulled her mobile and started to transfer some of the photos to her mobile from the iPad and placed the iPad back on the table after she was done with it.
she was about to place her mobile back in her bag when raghav returned to the hall.she slowly moved her hand behind her back so he does not notice anything.
Raghav stared at pallavi "what are you hiding behind you back" He asked as he approached pallavi
Pallavi slowly dropped her mobile on the couch and moved her hand to the front "what are you talking about,see nothing in my hand" she said as she moved away from the couch and took hold of his hand and pulled him towards the dining table to have a lunch
Raghav pulled chair at the dining table and slumped on it,as pallavi went to prepare food.he patiently waited for her to start a work,so he can go back and look for the thing she was hiding.
When she was halfway through the preparation he slowly reached the couch without her notice,he was about to pick her mobile,Pallavi rushed towards couch picked her mobile before he could get a hand on it
"You are hiding something,it would be better you handover your mobile or I will take it forcefully" saying that he tried to fetch mobile from her hand
She pulled her hand back stepped back and said "first of all this is my mobile,I would do whatever I want to do with it.if I do not want to give it.i wouldn't.do not even think you can bully me into give in"
"I was trying to be modest,after you blaming me as bully,I would make sure live up to the bully"saying that he took a quick step towards her
Pallavi yelped and ran to kitchen "raghav I am in middle of making food,leave me alone,after meal prepared,i would hand over the phone myself"
Raghav cornered her against kitchen shelf,placing his hands behind shelf,he trapped pallavi from escaping him.he stepped further in,leaned down and whispered in her ear "you have only one option,show me what you are hiding in your mobile and settle this or you are not going to like the consequences"
Pallqvi was contemplating how to distract him,when cooker whistle blowed behind her.she almost forgot she was in middle of cooking, she startled and jumped in fright, try to move away from the sound, when she accidentally moved closer to raghav,in a rush she turned around when her lips brushed the corner of raghavs lips.
She froze in the spot for a moment and scurried away towards stove to complete preparing the rest of the food.
She could hear raghav laugh behind her,she wanted to curse him but couldn't curse make her mind to it
She avoided his eye contact entire course of lunch.the incident really embarrassed her.
"I was not expecting you to make a first move,if this is what you want I am all open for it " He said as she walked to clean the dishes after lunch,making her blush further
She did not answer him as she continued to wash the dishes hoping he change the subject if she keep her silence.
"You know what,I wished you kiss me properly rather than kissing corner of my mouth,that is just a brush of your lips. We can try one more time.this time around I would help you do properly what do you say" He chided her as he helped her dry the dishes
"I hate you" saying that pallavi scooted away
He chuckled at her embarrassed face.he actually found what she was saying funny"I am sorry,I would not chide you further.Come here" He said as he pulled her into his arms hugged her tenderly,his hand covering the back of her head.she smiled with contempt in his arms.
They stayed in the same posture for some time.they lost count of time lost in their embrace. Pallavi thought it is best time take a revenge for making fun of her "I prefer seeing you in two, no in three ponytails rather than one."saying that she slipped out of his arms took a step back,waited patiently what she said to sunk in his mind
When he realized pallavi has seen the photos where rithu tried to give him new hairstyle.his face turned red and he started to blush
"Are you really blushing" she cooed in a baby voice as she squezed both his cheeks
"that is the photo you have in your mobile,which you trying to hide from me right" He groaned in annoyance
Without saying anything pallavi tried to get past him,in wick of a moment Rahav moved towards her and got hold of her mobile and pulled out a photo and deleted it.little did he know she had a copy of that photo in her cloud account.
