They reached next nearest restaurant and ordered food,both of them were frustrated of each other.raghav being stubborn kept quite entire dinner.pallavi tried to speak to him but he was grumpy. though his words were cordial,his voice was clipped and gruff .that is typical of raghav whose temper level go from low to high when things doesn't go his way.
When dinner was over,he stared intensely at her for a moment as he tried to control himself.it must have shown in his face as pallavi looked at him blankly,He took a deep breath before reaching her hand bringing her back to the parking lot where they had parked vehicle earlier.he allowed her inside the car and walked around,slipped into driver seat,seconds later they were on their way
It was almost an hour ,they were still driving and on top of it ,it was raining heavily. Pallavi looked surrounding area and realized they were not on their way home. Immediately she turned around and looked at raghav and asked "where are we heading raghav,this is not the way home"
Raghav gave her a glance but ignored her completely as he concentrate back on the road ahead.seeing there is no way to get word out of his mouth,she settled back in the seat thinking,why always something or other comes in their way. Why wouldn't they able to have simple dinner outside like normal people.she felt sad for both of them and made her mind to work against the odd and work things out between them,if not from his end,she was determined to put her complete effort.she was pulled out of her thought,when car came to an sudden hault after almost an hour.
Pallavi looked around the area,it was middle of nowhere.an empty road with trees on the both side,they were out of the city and there were no vehicle passing around.
Raghav came around the car opened the car door,extend his hand for her,Pallavi reluctantly took his hand as she exit the car. She looked around the area, there was defeaning silent and it was dark except light beaming from his car front lights. She looked at him and asked "raghav what are we doing here in the middle of road"
Raghav pulled her towards him and turned her around,he weaved his hand around her waist,leaning down he burried his chin in her shoulder,before speaking anything,he inhaled her scent,pointed his hand towards the light which is coming from the car "You always wanted to go to a place,where one side its raining and other side it is not right,see its raining other side of the road and not at this end" saying that he further buried his head in her neck again
All pallavis turmoil faded into to thin air,she moved away from raghav and walked towards the beam,where she could see drizzle,she was in a trance. She walked half a way and about to go to other side of the road where it was raining but stopped herself and turned around and ran to raghav and flunged herself on him as she weaved her hands around his neck
Ragahv laughed at her antics and hugged her back and kissed on side of her cheek and whispered " I drove an hour to seek this place,if I knew you like hugging me more than enjoying it,I would have hugged you without wasting time driving herr"
She pulled herself away from him and rolled her eyes at him and hugged him back without caring for anything.
They stayed like that for long time before raghav spoke "Pallavi it's started raining at our end also,I am not going to drive for one more hour,come on" he tried to pull her away from him,but pallavi has not responded to him, still she was latching on to him as though they were at the end of the world.
Sighing raghav bent down and pulled her up in his arm and ran to the other side where it is drizzling,once they reached other side,he slowly put her down. Pallavi stretched her hand in the rain as she closed her eyes for a moment to enjoy the drizzle.
Raghav moved away felt relieved seeing her soar mood turned to happy one.he couldn't move his eyes away from her
He could not bear the thought of hurting her again but he did the same within the hours of meeting her back.during entire dinner he was thinking how to change the hostile environment,which he blamed himself for creating.he was so guilty he couldn't look her in the eye during dinner let alone speak to her but when they were on the way back he just realised how to console her, so he drove an hour just to put smile on her face
Pallavi has planned to visit hyderbad in that week.so before she leave the city he doesn't want any bad blood among them. He would love to join her but there were lot of pending work cause of his week lobg absence.now he had to cope up with that few more days without her. but one more thing which is bothering him was discussion he had with his mother before he left for banglore.she wants him to remarry , considering her health condition he said he would think about it.knowing his mother he was certain she would do something which would jeopardize his relation with pallavi
He wanted to discuss this with pallavi,but he was not sure how to bring up the topic,so he planned for the dinner but that plan also went south. So he decided he would give it a time abd speak to her on the topic,when she is back from her trip to home
