Pallavi looked up at him and nodded with small hesitant smile and said "I take your words for it"
One thing got clear to raghav that he cares for her more than anything in the world,her tears few minutes back and her tears filled eyes with content smile now made him realized that he could go any extent for her
He moved further close to her to express it in words when Pallavi said "thanks raghav,your words meant a lot to me,your words ease my mind and going to help me get through this project.if you do not mind atleast till this contract gets over can we work as a friends"
On hearing her words,Everything around him crumbled.he could not take word friends between them.it is more than that and she was thinking in the line of friend and expecting only friendship from him,it hurts him a lot and he got angry immediately in a fraction of a second
Just from his flared nostrils she knows, he was not happy of her request. Last thing sh needed was him going back to earlier self,so she immediately murmered"i would be more than happy if we become colleagues"
Raghav wanted strangle her for colleague comment,every time she opens her mouth,his anger level increasing at a sky rocketed level.before he could correct her, some one knocked on his door.controlling his frown he moved away from her and asked the person to get in.suresh entered the cabin and he could sense the death pause in the room and pallavis hurt face. Clearing his throat he looked at raghav and said "team wanted to check with you on tomorrow's outing to the nandhi hills.would you be joining us tomorrow "
Not wanting to interrupt their conversation ,pallavi smiled at suresh before walking off the cabin.frustrated raghav said "I would not be joining, I have some other work to do" and got back to his work, suresh nodded and walked out of the door
Next day everyone decided to meet at four in the morning at office entrance for the bike trip to nandhi hills.they were around eleven people and they needed extra bike,Pallavi was good at riding vehicle so she rented a two wheeler for herself.she feels happy when she drives so when there was need of one extra vehicle for eleven people,she volunteered in to ride vehicle on herself
Every one assembled around four at the entrance of office,when they saw raghav parking his car and reached them.
Every one confused on seeing him,they were not expecting him at all. He wished morning to everyone and asked which vehicle he would be riding.
They looked at each other in confusion and pointed at pallavi and said "it is the only bike free,you can join her.if you do not want to ride you can follow us in the car" said suresh
"I heard it's a bike trip,I would better go with you guys only" saying that he moved to pallavi and asked her for the moped key
Pallavi looked at him in the eye and said"i have been waiting to go to nandini hills riding on two wheeler myself from past one week,so I would be riding it,if you want you can sit in the back"
Raghav glared at her but without saying anything sat on the back of bike.every one around them looked at them spectically,specifically the way raghav agreed without qny fight, but no one had a guts to ask him anything
To dilute the situation suresh said "hi guys let's get started otherwise we wouldn't reach top of the hill before sunrise" and hopped on to his vehicle, and nandini followed behind him
Raghav was looking out of place in back of the vehicle.he was bulk with brooding face,pallavi's small phisic, on top of that she was riding a vehicle,had attracted lot of attention around. Pallavi was enjoying the situation to the core,while laughing at him.
Raghav could sense pallavi was laughing at his uncomfortable situation,he moved his face next to her "you are enjoying this right,why would not you park vehicle aside and let me drive from this point onwards" He said in frustration
Pallavi could hear him but pretended she could not "sorry, I am not able to hear you,so much noise around.lets talk later" saying that she increased the speed and weaved through the other vehicles on the road.
"I know you are doing this on purpose,I am not going to spare you" He said in frustration
As they rode further large building started replacing with the greeneries, darkness with smog and the temperature also started decreased. All people around started embracing the nature.
All other vehicle from their group moved ahead as they were using the bike,whereas pallavis was moped, it was much slower than the others vehicle,but she was keat bothered by that,she was enjoying the wind waving around her while riding in the curvy road around the hill.
Raghav engulfed in the nature's beauty,for the first time he felt free,no responsibility overing his shoulder,lost in his thought he put his both arns around pallvis waist and leaned his head on her shoulder and
Pressed his head in the crook of her neck.
Pallavi felt jolt of wave on her body when he wrapped his arms around her,for a moment she lost her balance and was about crash but balanced herself "Raghav what are you doing let go off your hand" Pallavi whisper shouted at him
Raghav on hearing Pallavi realized what he had done and started to retrieve his hand,but stopped for a moment and decided against it.he tightened his arm further around her "I am feeling cold,the way I am bearing with you,you have to bear with me for rest of the journey" He said while pouting
"Raghav some one from office would catch us ,it does not look good.let go off me" she tried to wiggle herself out of him but to no avail
"As if I care" He said and moved his head further into her shoulder as he started enjoying the view.
Knowing there was no way to convince him,Heaving sigh of frustation.she let him scoot further to her
