~Rough~

He walked up to me with a horrid look.

"Davian I swear it wasn't me, what ever that look is for." He looked at me with surprise.

"Oh sorry Rough. I was just thinking about the new wolf in town."

"Do you like her?" He looked at me in surprise.

"Why would I like her?"

"You haven't stopped complaining about her all week."

"Rough I complain because she is getting on my nerves. I see her for three classes strate and then I see her at my locker too. I don't want to see anymore of her. I am so glad the weekend is finally here. Oh my mother has an errand for you to run." I sighed. Always the Beta's job to do things the alpha doesn't want to do. But when the month is up I will be the new Beta, so I might as well get use to it.

"What does she need done?"

"You need to check up on the rogue. I have to help my mom but she wants someone watching her. You up for the challange man?"

"Not much of a challange yet. At least not until her wolf takes over. She'll be in the pack soon right?"

"Yeah my mother just has to make sure she can trust her thats all."

"Okay. She's living with the wolf human right?"

"Yes. Sorry I can't stay long friend, I just had to deliver that message and then my mother wants me back." He gave me a high five and headed out the door. He has been complaining about this girl for some time now. I hope she isn't as bad as he thinks she is. I sighed and got up. If I was going to see her I best look good. First impressions and all.

-------------------------

The Door to their front was an old ornate door. I've been here a couple times before. The wolf lady is nice. She's lived with our kind for a long time. I sighed and knocked on the door. I took a wiff of the air. Something sweet floated to me as my wolf inside jumped. What was that for buddy?

"I got it Aunty."

"It's probly Rough. He's a nice young man. Don't you worry." I smiled. I smiled? Sence when do I smile at things like that? The door open revealing the new wolf. I took a deep breath and looked at her. She had long chess nut brown hair that reached her hips. She had dark green eyes and her skin was a deep dark rich color. My wolf yelped in satisfaction as only one word came to my mind.

"Hi," Her voice sounded wonderous and I had to hear it again.

"Hello my name is-"

"Rough." My name sounded like velvet coming off her lips.

"Yes, and you must be Autum." Autum. Such a perfect name. She was perfect. My mate.

-.-.-

~Autum~

Someone knocked at the door.

'Get the door! Get the door, Get it now!'

'Okay I'm getting up. Slow down.'

"I got the door Aunty."

"Its probly Rough. He's a nice young man." I smiled and opened the door. Standing in front of me was a tall dark tanned man with black hair and deep brown eyes. My wolf yelped.

"Hi," my voice was weak and I sounded awful. He smiled though.

"Hello my name is-"

"Rough."

"Yes, and you must be Autum." We stood there looking at eachother. He was perfect. My mate.

"Well are you going to let him in or stair at him?" I shook myself back to te present.

"Come on in." I waved my hand forward. The erge to go strate to his arms was too strong. As he walked in I pressed myself against his chest. He smelled of vanilla and tabaco. He wrapped his arms around me and set his head on top of mine. I sighed into his chest.

"Thats quite a 'welcome to the naborhood' greeting there Rough. Do I get one of those?" I felt a deep chuckle in his chest. He let go and I stept away.

"Of corse. You love wolf hugs." I laughed. He wraoped her in a great big hug. But it was nothing like our hug.

"Nice to see you again. Though with the look of that hug you gave my neice I think I'll be seeing more of you."

"What are you talking about?" My aunt put her hands on her hips and smiles at me.

"Child, I've been around wolfs long enough to know what it looks like when two find their mates." I felt mu cheeks heat up as Rough walked back over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

--------------------------

We both sat on the couch. I was snuggled against his chest and he had his arm around me. He was so warm. For a were I was pretty cold. Mama said it was because I was so small.

"Okay so love birds what are you going to do now? I mean don't they have to except you now, Autum."

"They don't have to." I looked up at Rough.

"What do you mean they don't?" He sighed and looked at me.

"I wasn't born into the pack. I was a Rogue."

"What?" My aunt and I said at the same time.

"When I was 17 my pack was wiped out by rogues. I was the lone servivor. I ran for months as a wolf, too afraid to shift back. When I finally wanted to shift back it had been two years and my wolf had taken over. He controled everything. I couldn't shift back.

"It had been three years when I found this pack. The alpha found me in my wolf form. I was smaller-almost the size of a normal wolf- and she found me and tried to help. I wanted so desprately to speek as a human. With her help and the rest of the pack I was back to human but being a rogue for too long takes a tole on your brain."

"How so?" I asked. He started rubbing my arm. My wolf purred like a cat.

"I don't remember much about my lufe before the death of my old pack. Not even my real name." I looked ito his eyes and saw pain. I wanted to make him not feel pain. I wanted him to be happy.

"So even though you're going to be beta they could still deny Autum."

"And me."

"I don't see why they can't trust me. I wasn't the one who made the mistake!" I was angery. Stupid parents. Why did they have to make my pack-

"I know dear. But she has to learn to trust you. She keeps her tabs on every pack and she needs-"

"Wait what? What do you mean she keeps her tabs on every pack?" I pulled out of my mates arms and leaned towards my aunt. My wolf howled in pain.

'Oh put a cork in it!' She hushed up.

"You didn't know."

"Not all packs know. All Alphas and Betas know."

"Know what?!" They both looked at eachother and then at me.

"Alpha Rose is the Queen of the werewolfs, and Davian is the prince."
