Author: Greetings, everyone, and welcome to the first chapter of 'The Abused Becomes a Hero'. So here is the thing, I'm revisiting these old chapters and making necessary changes to each of them. The scene opens up to a waiting room, where we can see a young man, who looks to be around 24 or 25 years of age, sitting down on the many available chairs in the area. He possessed a round face, framed by his short, fluffy, mess of dark green hair that was sticking up at odd angles around his head with it also casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself.
His eyes were large and somewhat circular, with irises having the same green color as his hair, which at times looks very watery, and is usually stretched quite wide, giving him an innocent, energized appearance. However, the most noticeable features he had were the set of four symmetrical freckles in a diamond formation, on each cheek.
This individual was none other than Izuku Midoriya, better known as the pro-hero Deku, Japan's current number-one hero and the world's symbol of hope.
