Author: Greetings, my esteemed readers! Welcome to the first install of the "Chronicles of Remnant", a unique series of chapters that will provide you with a sneak peek into the current events and transformations that were unfolding in Y/n's former world. However, before diving into the story, I'd like to clarify some things.
First, allow me to begin by shedding some light on Y/n's origin. Y/n's birth was not planned at all. In other words, Summer and Tai engaged in unprotected intercourse, which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. Now, upon learning of the pregnancy, Summer initially intended to have an abortion. However, her plan was thwarted when Ruby and Yang overheard the discussion and expressed their excitement about having a new sibling, (They assumed that Y/n would be a girl, this was a crucial bit of detail that shaped their character development.) Summer eventually reconsidered her decision, promising to "try" and raise Y/n, but as we know, things did not go as planned.
Secondly, it should be noted that in this AU, no one is aware of Y/n's suicide.....yet, but it will be revealed in the next installment.....hopefully.
A critical point that should also be mentioned is that I created something for this Au and that would be a date system. When reading the story, in the time slot, you would notice "AGW" which is short for "After the Great War" just so we can have a reference point in time. Lastly, I would like to point out that I have used external sources to ensure the consistency of this story. Now with that out of the way, ON WITH CHAPTER.
