I stretched out as I walked back home from work, looking at the pamphlet I got for Hexside. If Luz and I started in just a few days, I should read up on its history.
I phone started buzzing, and I looked down at my phone.
Good Witch Luzura Hey! I'm getting my book back from Amity! Meet at Rot Alley?
Silver History Junkie Sure. I'm near the area anyways. See you in a second!
I continued walking down the alley and saw Amity. "Hey, Amity!" I said. "Oh, hello Ember." Amity said. "Hold on, my siblings are causing a ruckus."
We walked over to see Luz on the ground and the twins laughing. "Edric, Emira, stop bothering her." Amity said helping Luz up.
"Sorry, Luz. They insisted on coming for some reason." Amity told her. "Because we love you baby sister." Emira said.
"They've been extra protective and nice towards me to make up for the library incident." "And we still apologize every day."
Amity pulled out Luz's book and gave it to her. "In any case here's your book." "So what did you think?" Luz asked.
"It was, fine." Amity said. "So fine you drew yourself with Malingale the mysterious Soothsayer?" Luz said pulling out a drawing of Amity with said character.
Amity blushed and drew a circle, destroying it. "This is great! Maybe we can even start an Azura club at school when we're classmates." Luz said.
"When we're what?" Amity questioned. "Surprise! Me and Ember are enrolling at Hexside!" Luz said happily showing her the pamphlet for Hexside.
"Oh, uh, sorry. But to be in my class you need to take a placement exam, and prove you've mastered two spells." Amity said.
Mine and Luz's eyes widened. "I know you guys have your light thing, do you know anything else?" Amity asked.
"Placement exam? Spells?" Luz questioned. "Quit giving them a hard time Mittens." Emira said. "Yeah, of course they know two spells, right guys?" Edric said.
"Well, actually-" "Yeah, of course we know two spells." Luz said and started laughing weirdly. It sounded like the same weird laugh Camilla gave me when I asked her about all the Cosmic Frontier merch in the basement.
"Because if you don't, they'll put you in the Baby Class." Amity said showing us a picture with a baby chewing on a building block.
