Luz put a bottle with the small demon, that was originally supposed to be a huge brute, on top of a small table in her room and tuned on her phone.
"Hola mama! You haven't heard from me in a while, it's been a week and a half since the petrifaction ceremony. A week and a half since I destroyed the portal home."
Luz looked away with sorrow. "I had too. Emperor Belos was going to kill Eda and imprison Ember if i didn't hand it over. But I couldn't let him use it. So I blew it up with some magic... fire?"
"She's not going to understand any of this." Luz deadpanned. "That's okay Luz. Just keep moving forward."
"This world is filled with inexplicable magical wonders!" Luz pulled out the portal key. "Like this portal key. I don't know if it contains magic but I'm gonna study all I can and find a way back to you."
She pulled up her leg showing King who was clutching onto her. "A-And look! I have friends to help me."
"I'm never letting you go. You're never returning to the human realm!" He said. "He doesn't mean that." "Yea I do!" King shouted before Luz covered up the camera.
The camera showed Eda who was trying to concentrate a bit of magic to pour a cup of apple blood.
"This is Eda the Owl Lady one of the two most powerful witches on the Boiling Isles! Or at least she was, until her curse overpowered her and weakened her magic."
The jar exploded covering the kitchen in apple blood.
"She's doing her best now."
The camera cuts to Judah who was trying to concentrate his magic into lifting a box of books. His head beaded with sweat and his hand was coated in red magic as he clenched his fist trying to raise the box.
"Judah the Shadow Witch. The other most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles. But also, his curse overpowered him too."
He managed to lift it a few feet off the ground before it fell.
"His magic wasn't weakened as much as Eda's, and unlike Eda, Judah is a little more patient with getting his magic back."
The camera turns to the door where Ember just came back from a late night shift at the Library. She walked inside and collapsed on the couch.
"Ember has been working extra at the library for extra money. Eda and Judah say not to worry, but... you know how persistent she is."
