"My Prince, you should relax. Why don't you sit first? You're walking back and forth makes me dizzy," Beta Sabir complained while following the movement of Prince Badr.

Prince Badr couldn't make himself sit and relax, the reason for it was behind the closed door in one of the rooms in their infirmary. His eyes lingered on the closed door; his thoughts wandered to what had happened earlier.

......

"My Prince! Noooo!" He heard Beta Sabir and Effendi Raj shout at him, but he didn't mind them. The smell was intoxicating him, and it was getting stronger when he faced the entrance. He put his hand in front of him to test if the unseen force field that created a barrier in the tomb would hurt him.

To his astonishment, his hands went through it. He saw the sparks of light that scattered along the barrier, they just waved off of him, starting where his hands made a hole. Seeing that the unseen barrier didn't hurt him, he decided to go inside the tomb.

As he was putting his feet forward, he felt a hand on his shoulder. "My Prince," Beta Sabir firmly held him in an attempt to stop him from going inside. "Please don't do it," Beta Sabir pleaded with him.

"Get your hands off me, Uncle. As you can see, the unseen barrier doesn't hurt me. We need to check what is going on inside the tomb," Prince Badr said, still focusing on his hand and the barrier.

"Let the warriors do it, my Prince. You are too important to this kingdom. We cannot take the risk. We cannot put you in danger," Beta Sabir said to him, without taking his hand off Prince Badr's shoulder so he couldn't go inside.

Prince Badr stepped back from the unseen barrier and faced their beta. "Uncle, you heard Effendi Raj. This barrier hurts anyone who tries to enter, and is the life of a warrior not as important as mine? Don't you think as their crown prince, I should be the one to lead them and not make them a shield for my protection? You saw it with your own eyes, Uncle, the barrier just parted. It allows me to get through. We don't know the reason, but I think no one can get through it, but me," he reasoned to their Beta.

"I saw it, my Prince, but we can't take the risk. I cannot put you in danger, so allow me to test it again for you," Beta Sabir said to the prince.

"Uncle," Prince Badr tried to protest, but Beta Sabir just gave him a firm look. No point in him arguing. Once their Beta sets his mind to something, they cannot do anything about it. It had been proven countless times that all of Beta Sabir's decisions were for the good of the Kingdom.

"I am sworn to protect this Kingdom, and as our future ruler, you are 'the Kingdom', so, I will give my life to protect you. I know you wouldn't want us to put ourselves in danger because of you. But I am bound by my oath and duty," Beta Sabir firmly said.

Although Prince Badr was the crown prince, and he could use his alpha tone on Beta Sabir to make him abide by his will, he didn't want to do it to him. He rarely used his Alpha tone; he didn't want to use it unless necessary. Their Alpha tone, as a member of the royal family, is stronger than any other alpha. The tone could make a person follow whatever command he was given, regardless of whether he wanted to or not. They can make all the desert wolves do their bidding when using their alpha tone, whether they belong to the Sahara Clan or any other clans in the Kingdom of Aucrolux, from Alpha to Omega. While regular Alpha's tones were restricted only to their clan members, to make them submit, they cannot make them act against their will.

Prince Badr couldn't do anything, but he gave way to their beta because he knew that there was no room for arguments. So, he just stepped aside for him to test the barrier. As soon as Beta Sabir lifted his hand and was about to touch the unseen force field, waves of magical sparks immediately gathered in the area where Beta Sabir's hand was heading. Prince Badr immediately pulled Beta Sabir's hand away from the barrier before he too was blown away by a magical force like the warrior before him.
