"I heard that the ward of the King paid a visit here yesterday, Ashraf?" Alpha Allister asked him. They were currently having breakfast on the balcony of the room assigned for Alpha Allister.

"She did, Alpha," Ashraf answered his alpha.

"Hmmm, what did she want?" Alpha Allister asked while sipping his shay and sweeping his gaze over the surroundings beneath them. They were in the topmost room of the west wing of the castle, and they could see everything below them.

Ashraf swept his gaze outside too. "She wants us to help them," he simply answered. He noticed that the capital was starting to get busy. People were getting started to leave the comfort of their homes to get on with their day-to-day lives. He was still astonished at how the people here, especially the few ladies, were able to walk freely with no worries that someone would snatch them and rape them in broad daylight.

"Help them with what?" Alpha Allister again asked, Ashraf could feel the curiosity in his Alpha's gaze. He knew that he was staring directly at him.

"In ousting the King and taking over this Kingdom," Ashraf answered Alpha Allister matter-of-factly, and then he returned his gaze to the food before them.

"Hahaha!" Alpha Allister laughed loudly, "What a coincidence!" he blurted out. "Did she tell you exactly how she wanted to do it?" Alpha Allister asked Ashraf when he finally stopped laughing.

"She wanted to meet me someplace in the capital, alone. She said she would tell me the details of the plan if I would come and meet her there," Ashraf stated.

"Hmmm... Isn't she the ward of the King? She is under his protection, she has the chance to be the Queen of this Kingdom. What do you think is the reason she wants to oust him?" Alpha Allister asks Ashraf, his demeanor changed, and his brow creased in deep thought.

"That's exactly what's on my mind, Alpha," Ashraf voiced. Then they both fell into silence. Alpha Allister continued to sip on his shay, his brow creasing now and then, as he fell into deep thought.

Ashraf just toyed with the food on his plate. The food in front of them was extravagant, there were fried eggs, kubos, hummus, different kinds of cheese on a platter, makdous, falafel, and more. There were different kinds of shay and coffee too. All this extravagant food was vastly different from what Ashraf was used to in their clan. Having a piece of kubos and a pinch of hummus on breakfast at their table was already a luxury for them, most of the time they would not have breakfast at all. Life here in the Sahara was too extravagant for his taste. This made him angry at the royals, having lived in luxury inside the walls of their border while letting the other clans die of hunger, especially their clan, the Drozosha clan, in addition to the lack of their women. The royals leave them to die, and they cast their clans to the edge of the kingdom, where the land is dry and not good for cultivation to grow some plants or have a herd of sheep and cows to take care of. If not for their ability to hunt, the Drozosha clan would surely die of starvation.

"You should meet her," Alpha Allister suddenly said, breaking the silence between them.

"What if it's a trap, Alpha?" Ashraf asked his alpha. He stopped toying with the food on his plate and put down his shawka. He looked directly into Alpha Allister's eyes.

"The more reason that you need to go. You are the only one capable of knowing if they are putting a trap on us or not. We can learn a thing or two about the Khiterra Clan's plan, and if you are lucky enough, we can get their women too," Alpha Allister said to him. Ashraf could see behind the man's serious façade. He knew that his alpha didn't have the intention to work closely with other clans; they have their reason for overthrowing the King.
