"Aaahhh" Soraiya screamed into her gag. She was in terrible pain, her insides were burning, especially the part where Sabir's mark was. The laughter surrounding her added to her agony as she watched her mate's aura change. Her tears never stopped flowing, she squirmed and screamed, trying to release herself from the post she was tied to.
The eyes of Sabir were pitch black. He wasn't himself anymore, and for the first time, she saw a side of him that she didn't know existed. Soraiya cried in agony, "this wasn't Sabir, he couldn't do it in front of me," she thought to herself, trying to console herself and distract her mind so she couldn't feel the pain that was burning inside her.
She saw how he wrecked the woman's clothes with his claws. The woman screamed but Sabir was oblivious to the woman's cries. He was like a monster ready to devour his prey.
"Soraiya, my love..." Soraiya heard the voice of Sabir in her mind. Although she was in pain, she focused on its sound. "Close your eyes, my love. I don't want you to watch this. I am not in control of my body, creating a connection to you through our bond requires a lot of effort for me," she heard him say through the mind link. She looked in Sabir's way but he wasn't looking at her, instead, Sabir was busy toying with the female wolf, with a maniac grin on his face.
"Close your eyes, my love..." she heard him say again, "That's not me, that's my beast, and my father is controlling him," Sabir said through their bond. "I can't fight his power over my body. I am sorry, my love. I am weak," he added. Soraiya could hear the pain in his tone, and his voice in her head seemed to fade. "I love you, Soraiya. I will get you out of here alive," he promised to her before their bond severed.
"Aaahhh!" Soraiya screamed again when she felt another surge of pain come through the mark. She regretted that she didn't follow Sabir's advice to close her eyes and not to look his way, because the second her eyes fell into Sabir's she saw the beast grinning at her before he rammed into the woman that he was toying with.
The pain that surged through Soraiya was so unbearable that she almost lost consciousness. Her eyes stubbornly darted Sabir's way, looking at him, trying to seek his inner self. Looking at the familiar Sabir that she knew, the Sabir that she loved, but she failed. Instead, she saw Sabir looking in her direction too, with malice in his eyes and a wicked grin on his face. Soraiya couldn't take it anymore; the pain from the bond and the ache that she felt from the scene before her was too much for her to bear. As she closed her eyes and succumbed to the darkness that slowly consumed her, she heard someone calling her name. She was too weak to open her eyes until she fainted.

"Soraiya..." a faint call of her name was pulling her out of the darkness.
"Soraiya, wake up!" Soraiya opened her eyes, she saw the worry in Daena's eyes.
"What happened?" she asked. Daena didn't answer her, instead, she just motioned for her to look around. Soraiya scanned her eyes around her surroundings, and that's when she saw flowers blooming where she was laying. She could still feel a faint essence of her magic from them.
"I did this, didn't I?" she asked Daena.
"You were having that dream again, yes?" Daena asked.
Soraiya nodded. She has nothing to hide from Daena. Her friend knows everything about her, as well as she knows everything about Daena too. They were inseparable since their paths crossed. Daena swore to protect her from any danger since the day she saved her from the clutch of her kind, the dispersers.
"What are you, Soraiya?" a timid voice asked from Soraiya's behind. Daena and Soraiya both turned their heads in the direction of the voice. She saw a bewildered Sara, looking directly at the flowers that bloomed in the sand.
