"We are now near the capital, Alpha," Frey reported to Alpha Allister. He went ahead as per the instruction of his Alpha to scout the area. Although their arrival was known since they entered the border, they were still cautious on their way.

The Drozosha clan traveled for two more nights after they had entered the border of the Sahara going into the capital. Ashraf was still waiting for a word from Yaseer. He hadn't heard from him ever since he sent him to track down Jubal. He knew Yaseer was a good tracker, but if he encountered a disperser wolf, like the ones that they encountered before entering the border, he wouldn't stand a chance, like their other brothers.

Ashraf's thoughts were interrupted when they finally reached the entrance to the capital. This was his first time stepping into another clan's territory, especially in the Sahara Capital. Even before, when he would come with the other men of Drozosha to seek out women from other clans, he never tried to enter their border. He remained outside the border of the other clans and kept an eye on them.

The tale about the Sahara wasn't exaggerating, the houses there were all in good shape. They were all well-maintained and the mud that was used there was of good quality. Unlike the beehive structure in houses of the Drozosha Village, the Sahara houses were in line, and you could tell the difference between the noble houses to the commoner. Their center was buzzing with activity, decorations were put up and there were a lot of merchants selling different kinds of goods.

Ashraf was fascinated with the kids running around freely at the heart of the center. Playing in the sole fountain there. It was the very first time that he saw children, even though they were all boys. He could see some women also dressed in a colored abaya or burka. Their numbers were so few that you can even count them by the fingers of your hands, but it still fascinated Ashraf to see women, freely walking in the streets of the Sahara without worrying about any man jumping out and r*ping them on site. He could see the Drozosha men drooling over the women. Frey whistled at one of them earning him a glare among the women. The other warriors laughed at Frey.

"What? I am just letting them know that I admired them," Frey reasoned with his comrade.

'Shut it, Frey! We were not in the Drozosha, get a grip on your desires here. We don't want to attract attention to ourselves and put ourselves in a situation where they would learn about what we have done to their women. Remember all other clans and Alphas are here too. If any of you will do something that could jeopardize our plans here in the capital, I will personally kill all of you,' Alpha Allister warned his men through their mind link. 'Slowly,' he added with a menacing growl.

The men bowed their heads to their Alpha.

"Yes, Alpha," they answered in unison. After they had passed the Sahara Center, the Drozosha men quietly rode following their Alpha into the most magnificent place Ashraf had ever seen.

The Sahara Palace was standing tall at the very edge of the Capital. The rocky mountain behind it brought the most glorious view and added to the majestic vibe of the place. They passed some mud houses near the palace gate and even those houses are elegantly built.

"Saharans live a good life eh," one of the warriors commented.

"This was what I expected among the biggest clan in our kingdom," another one added.

"Hah! Those royals are a bunch of cowards, living a good life behind their lavish lifestyle, while not looking in the direction of their other subjects and learning how they live to survive," the oldest among the warriors said with a scoff.

Ashraf just remained silent while he listened to their conversation and opinions about life in the Sahara. Surely life here was entirely different from what they had in the Drozosha. Way too much different. While Sahara was living a lavish and grandiose life, Drozosha live in constant danger from dispersers and hunger. If they don't hunt for food, they will soon starve. That's why they were considered the most barbaric clan among the other twelve clans.
