Sara felt like she was floating, her body swayed and moved in a rocking motion. 'Am I dead?' she thought. Then she felt wetness in her stomach. 'Am I in water?' Slowly she tried opening her eyes, just to close them again because the light blinded her. The rocking motion didn't stop, then she felt the slap of the wind on her face. 'If I can feel the wind, and I feel dizzy due to the movement, does it mean I am not dead,' she thought again.
When the realization hit her, she opened her eyes again. This time she tried shielding her eyes from the blinding light that she now knew was coming from the sun. She was facing the clouds and the sky, the heat of the rays of the sun hitting directly at her face. The wind was slapping her face. She was moving at a rapid speed.
'Am I floating in the air?' she thought. 'But why do I feel wet on my stomach, if I am floating in the air?' she questioned herself, then she pulled her head up and looked directly at the source. Her eyes went wide when she realized she was being carried by the disperser wolf who attacked her cell. The wolf was biting the fabric of her clothes while it ran through the middle of the desert. And the wetness that she felt came from its dripping saliva. The wolf side-eyed her when it noticed she was awake. Sara might be hallucinating, but she thought the wolf grinned at her. She shuddered at the thought, but she tried being brave.
"Hey, you," she called out to the wolf, but it ignored her. "Where are you taking me?" she bravely asked.
Once again, the wolf just side-eyed her then it seemed to snigger at her. She was dangling under its muzzle while it ran fast through the desert. She fought the urge to vomit due to the dizziness she felt from the rocking motion created by the wolf running faster.
"Put me down! Let me go!" she shouted at it. But the wolf ignored her. Until they abruptly came to a halt. The sudden stop made Sara wonder what happened and why they stopped in the middle of nowhere. The disperser wolf opened its jaws and let go of her. Sara fell from the wolf's muzzle with a thud onto the sand.
"Ouch!" Sara exclaimed, coughing from the flying dust created by the impact of her fall. The disperser wolf just looked at her. "Are you going to eat me now?" she asked the wolf, eyeing it carefully. The wolf didn't move. It just stood there and watched her.
Sara became curious, she knew the dispersers were vicious creatures. From the tales that she heard from the elders; you don't want to get entangled with them. They were vile and nasty creatures that eat their own kind for power.
"Where are we? What do you want? Why did you bring me here? Did you bring me here to become your reserved meal?" she bombarded the disperser with question after question. Although Sara was shaking with fear at the creature, she still tried putting on her brave face in front of it. Laughter came out of nowhere and startled Sara.
"Daena, you scared her too much," a melodious voice said. She turned her head in the direction of the voice. She saw a beautiful lady standing by an open hole that was releasing water in the middle of the desert. The lady was unnaturally beautiful, she didn't look like a wolf. The lady looked more ethereal and godlier with her long luscious brown hair, smooth and silky white skin, and lean body. And she didn't have the smell of a wolf. Instead, she smelled different. The lady smelled of damp forest and fresh air, which made Sara wonder more. That kind of scent was only known to her because they were cultivating lands, and the damp smell of the soil mixed with the scents of the crops gave her the idea of the scent of the forest, which she often wished she could go to. And now this lady in front of her was bearing that smell.
"W-who are you?" Sara asked the lady cautiously. Then she heard bone cracking on her other side. The disperser wolf called Daena shifted back into her human form. A naked, tall, and muscular woman appeared before Sara's eyes.
