"Nooo!" Prince Badr heard a scream. It was coming from Eleanor's chamber. He immediately rushed there. Relief washed over him when he saw her sitting in her bed, awake. 'Ella,' he thought. Seeing her fully awake made his heart, beat rapidly. Different emotions surged through him; he couldn't explain them. He resisted his urge to run to her and hug her tight. She was still disoriented. She was breathing heavily, and her fists were clutching the cover tightly to her chest. He cleared his throat to announce his presence.

"My Lady," he said and went to her side. "You're awake," he couldn't hide the happiness in his tone. His face was full of worry, but his eyes were dancing with glee. A lump formed in his throat to suppress his emotions.

"Y-Your Highness," she said in her hoarse voice. He felt warm when he heard her speak, gladness engulfed him. 'God how I missed her voice,' he thought.

"You should lie down again, My Lady. You don't have the strength yet," he said. He arranged the pillows behind her back. Her scent invaded his nose as soon as he slightly leaned to reach out for the pillow. A low gasp escaped from her, and he smiled internally when he heard that.

'Goddess, how I missed her. I missed everything about her,' he thought.

Eleanor slightly leaned again at the pillow that he arranged, "Your Highness," she said, "What happened?" she asked him. He could tell that she was trying to compose herself. When she looked directly into his eyes, his breath hitched. He was drowning in her two gray orbs. He gathered all his strength to suppress the need to lean forward and kiss her.

"You don't remember?" he asked, clearing his throat. Breaking the trance that he was in. Eleanor slightly shook her head. "You were out for almost two days," he stated.

Eleanor's jaw dropped, she just stared at him like he grew a horn in front of her. "T-that long?" she finally asked when she recovered.

Prince Badr nodded. Then he went to the table near her bed and poured some water for her. "Did you remember the event before you passed out?" he asked her while giving her the cup and motioning for her to drink it.

Eleanor took the cup from him and slowly took a sip. "I just remembered bumping into you, when I mistakenly entered your chamber," she answered in a low voice. Her face flushed red when she remembered the event that night.

A smile slowly crept into his face when he saw the redness on her cheeks. He unconsciously stared at her while smiling. Eleanor's brow creased when she caught him, staring at her. "Is there something wrong with my face, Your Highness?" she asked.

"You don't have any idea how I missed seeing the color run to your face again," he said to her tenderly. Before he could stop himself, his hand reached and touched her cheek. A tingle of sparks ran from her cheeks to his palm, and it felt nice. It made his heart warm and elated.

Once again redness crept into Eleanor's face, but she just stared at him. Her eyes never left him, and she was not backing away from his touch. He sat down on the side of her bed, never taking his hand off her cheek. He gently caressed it, which made her close her eyes and leaned on his palm more.

"This isn't a dream..." she said. Talking more to herself than him. Looking at her serene face leaning on his palm with closed eyes, he was tempted to lean and have a taste of those lips.

He shook his head lightly and resisted that urge.

"No, it isn't a dream. You are here now with me," he uttered, his voice as hoarse as hers. "Were you having a dream this whole time?" he asked her, changing the topic.

Her eyes opened and looked directly at him. She took his hand off her cheek, and gently put it down. "I had the weirdest dream, Your Highness," she said. Her voice was unsure, she seemed debating within herself if she would tell him or not.
