Team four entered a military armored van, nervous yet excited. This is their first mission outside of camp along with the other teams who are going their separate ways.

"Listen very well! Today we are sending you to your first official mission." May briefed the three at her office earlier that morning.

"We are to escort a group of explorers that the military hired to investigate an ancient ruins that is rumored to be once an underground temple of ancient battlemages." The three silently listened at May's strict narration of their mission. Each of them can barely grasp each information as they still haven't fully recovered from a week of strenuous physical and mental training of their body, their spell casting ability, controlling their demons and using their newly gifted weapons.

"Our objective is simple. Ensure the safety of the explorers as they venture inside the ruins, until the time they exit. Scouts have been sent in advance and confirmed the absence of any hostile creature inside the ruins. This however, doesn't ensure the ease of our mission as reports of rebel groups, intercepting our researches and stealing valuable specimens from us, are increasing. We are to keep anything and anyone from interfering with the research and protect the explorers and any important specimen they might find. Another challenge we have in our mission is that the ruins seem to emit some waves that jam our SAT. You all need to summon one of your demons before we enter the cave. Be sure you are already comfortable in commanding that demon as we have no ways inside to absorb it in case it goes wild. And since we have no other ways to communicate, we are to strictly stick together."

As soon as they are all loaded in the van along with all their supplies, the van's engine started and moved towards their destination.

It is a three hour ride with them, traveling 130 miles per hour.

May's team arrived exactly at noon. The location's terrain is rocky with very little flora and fauna around.

A couple of tents are set up a few meters from the foot of a rocky hill. The large opening of a cave is noticeable even from their distance.

A barbed wire fence is set up around the tents, securing the area, with the addition of two soldiers guarding the entrance and two others roving around the fence.

"Ah Lieutenant Santos! It's been a long time!" A man in his late 50s with a black hair mixed with a few strands of gray hair, greeted May with a full smile the moment she came out of then van.

"Good day Mr. Alcain! I have my students here to join me in escorting you inside the ruins." May responded in a staid manner while the three get off the van and the van's driver unload their things. "We will just gear up then we'll start the operation."

"Hahaha! You're as straightforward as always. Anyway, how's my daughter doing?" Mr. Alcain inquired with a flippant attitude, slightly annoying May.

"She's currently under Mr. Baqui. Now would you please excuse us. We need to gear up quick." May walked pass Mr. Alcain, motioning the kids and the van's driver to follow her.

"Alright Lieutenat! See you later then." Mr. Alcain gave May a formal salute, yet still spoke cheerfully then winked at the kids.

May walked towards the entrance of the camp's barricade earning a salute from the two soldiers guarding it.

Upon entering the camp, another soldier greeted her and after formal salutations, May together with her students and the van's driver who was carrying some of their supplies, was escorted to a huge tent at the center of the camp.

"What's the update here sergeant?" Upon entering the tent, May caught the attention of a male soldier who is working on a desktop computer, with his back facing the entrance of the tent.
