Chapter 212: Curtain Call for the Kingdom of Avalon

After the death and destruction of the cult which caused a huge number of causality the operation alone, the whole dispatched force then went back towards the Kingdom's capital and informed of their king about the situation of the operation at hand.

Apparently the effects of the use of Aquasphere which caused a huge explosion to occur in the outskirts of the kingdom, had greatly affected the whole world itself. Both natural phenomenon and astral phenomenon were affected in this occasion, after all the Aquasphere did represent one of the 4 natural laws of the world which is connected to life, thus it was natural that its massive activation would naturally be felt throughout the world.

With such commotion, the whole kingdom were naturally in distraught as various ministers and nobles begun to discuss some countermeasure when one of the great power of the world were to turn against them. Thankfully the news of the operation success had washed away everyone's worry.

With the head of the cult dead and its executives were either captured of killed, the threat of the cult which served as a terrorist group for their kingdom for a lot of years had then been solved. Of course with the return of the heroes, there were also the return of the dead to their left behind family. So with such a huge casualty in the operation, a week for mourning will naturally be held throughout the kingdom.

As the various leaders of the kingdom of Avalon held meeting to discuss the aftermath of their battle against the cult, the others who were uninvolved on the other hand quickly rushed towards the medical bay and meet up with the people who had safely returned.

Iris herself had visited Akito on his ward much earlier of the day and is now currently taking care of his recuperation, as for the royal family of the Holsteia Kingdom, Cedric together with his brother Roland and his sister Ivory had visited him a few hours afterwards. After that King Hendrick and his wife Annabeth also came as they given their thanks and assurance of reward for Shun and Akito's contribution towards this operation, after all they are part of his kingdom, thus a reward for such accomplishment was only natural.

Lastly Duke Alan together with his wife lady Cecile came in to visit after the royal family had left and asked for Shun's condition, after all Shun is one of the valuable person in their household and to their daughter, thus such type of worry is only normal. After a few rounds of assurance and goodwill talk, Sephiria then visited after as she lounged towards Shun and hugged tightly for some unknown reason.

Apparently Sephiria was quite worried about Shun all this while as she waited for his return, she herself had experienced fighting against one of the executives of the cult when they attacked the kingdom capital, so she knew just how dangerous the operation is. So when she learned of Shun current condition after the operation, her worry begun to grow ever more as she rushed to visit him in his medical ward. If it weren't for the royal family visiting him first, she would have quickly squeezed her way into the crowd and head towards him.

Now that the royal family had left, Sephiria was free to let go of her calm demeanor and jump head first towards Shun's embrace. In fact it actually took awhile for her to snuggle up close and stay silent before she finally speaks after having her fill of daily dose of Shun's presence.

"Don't make me worry again"

Hearing her words, Shun simply laughed at it as he returned her hug with his own version of bear hug.

One week after, the diplomatic talk between the kingdom of Holsteia and the kingdom of Avalon had then ended peacefully despite all the troubles the kingdom had went in the hands of a terrorist cult. With the diplomatic ties been established firmly, both kingdom then went into alliance and partnership as they commemorate this eventful day as the day wherein two kingdoms unite to eliminate a threat  which disturb the kingdom's peace.
