Chapter 234: The First Convention IX

Seeing both Lorius and Akito together like this, reminds Shun of a very certain memory, a grim memory to be exact. After all the last time they were together like this is during the time of the competition finals which led to the three of them meeting each other on the final battle. Even though it was quite unfair since the battle turned into a 2v1, the outcome itself came pretty close if weren't for his summoned champion.

During those times Lorius was already strong enough that even both him and Akito had a hard time defeating him. Now that time has passed, it was much more apparent that Lorius had gotten even more stronger than before when they were in a competition. If it pust in comparison, Lorius past self is largely inferior to his current self.

Thanks to absorbing the fragmented power of the aquasphere, Shun is now able to distinguish the mana inside a person. Through it, he would be able to see and discern a person if he is strong or has potential just by looking at the amount of mana one has.

Of course at certain times having abundant mana doesn't actually tell you if one person is strong or not. After all it was already given that with such strength, people often turns arrogant no matter what status they have and sometimes people who have less to no mana can kill a person with abundant mana by relying on tricks and tactics during combat.

However Lorius is different, he is arrogant to outsiders but considerate and respectful to people who shows him a challenge. He respects people that has foundation and loathes people who are arrogant but baseless. With that he is somewhere in between and somehow tolerable at certain point.

"Well this is my event... what about you guys?" asked by Shun

"Oh us? we were visiting this academy and were tasked by our academy to observe the festivities in this academy and learn how to operate it" said by Akito while Iris nodded beside him

"Observe us? for what reason? this is just a simple festivities" replied by Shun

In that moment Lorius interrupted in.

"You don't understand! this may seem like a normal festivities to you, but the sheer scale of this activity greatly attracted everyone in the whole continent.... after all the royal family is here in order to foresee such an event, meaning this activity has the potential to become a national event just by getting the attention of the royal family... that's just how much influential the royal family is"

"I see... no wonder there is a sudden influx of attendees for the past days of the convention.... well if i was in your position, i would also be quite curios on such an event which caught the royal family's attention too... so i think its i already a given fact" said by Shun

"Well now you understand" said by Akito

After that Shun then turned his attention towards the other people beside them as he greeted Iris,  Mario Sith, Cynthia Fraum, and Rekka Loine. After greeting them, they then talked for a bit before Shun led them all over the convention while acting as a tour guide. Aside from that there were no other major event that unfolded in the convention as the program went as smoothly as possible.

Throughout the day, the stadium just grew even more merrier as various cheers rung out everywhere in the venue. Based on the cheers that can be heard, whatever anything that is happening inside, greatly excited the crowd. Through the crystal transmission Shun could even see what was happening inside the stadium as he saw people performing in stage which led to this loud cheer.

Shun could even see Cedric, Aria, and Wendy literally haggard from being the host of the event. If it weren't for the magic that they use to cool themselves, Shun is pretty sure that the pressure would suffocate them which would make it hard for them to do their task. Luckily they were able to hold on and continue to entertain the crowd.

Just like that the convention continued on until the sun finally set which led to the closing program of the event. During this time the host thanked everyone who attended the event for the past three days and somewhat made everyone reminiscence the joy they had experience during this short times. They were able to experience something new, due to that many of the attendees were thankful towards whoever accomplished this event and gave them a huge round of applause for the closing ceremony.

After awarding the special guest for their participation in this event, the convention finally ended that night as everyone begun to prepare to go home with a blissful expression. In that time Shun and the rest of the members of the club were greeted by many influential people for having their event successfully finish in good manners.

Such people are businessman, nobles, and even some hidden powerhouse who were entranced by this so called convention itself. They even wish to have a future collaboration with this type of event for the sake of their own reputation. After all if  the royal family are interested in this kind of event, then it might be worth enough to sponsor such an event. During this time they were even asked on when is the next convention and where its is going to be held, through this question none of them could answer, due to that they just gave a vague answer of 'they will be informed at a later time'.

With such an answer, those influential people have no choice but to wait for good news as they greeted them for one last time before bidding their farewells. After they left, Shun then had their group enjoy a celebratory party for the success of this event  which led to some grand small feast for everyone to enjoy. Due to that despite their tired state of mind, they were somewhat invigorated once more as they enjoyed the night they all had earned.

Drinking and eating till their merry everyone enjoyed their time as they spent the rest of the night till they are all dead drunk.
