Chapter 217: The New professor

[Gritonnia Academy]

About two weeks passed, the day in the academy was still slow and smooth going as no controversial arose on that day and month. In fact the atmosphere itself seemed like your ordinary slice of life school days.

Good classroom, nice classmate, friendly schoolmate, admired seniors, cute juniors, some spark of love over there, some love at first sight over here, and even some rankings for the most beautiful woman in the academy to represent as the Bella of the academy itself.

Speaking of Bella, the academy Bella was decided after some serious voting of various students in the academy. There were many candidates for such title and all of them are single and a beauty of its own right, but the title itself fell unto the lap of a freshman woman who has black hair, black eyes, sociable, and always smiling towards the people around her. A typical Bella trope of any school anime.

The moment the academy's Bella was named, school life returned to the way it was until another week passed of no extravagant event happening in some corner of the academy.

However the days following that week soon changed once more as the academy introduces another professor who looks young and seems like the same age as everyone in the class. If one had a title for it, then such a person would be a child professor, another typical trope of a school setting.

As the professor introduced the child professor in front of everyone, the whole class then came to know that the child professor is a person who was personally acknowledged by the principal of the academy and the king of the country. Not only that he was also the youngest person to achieve a master rank mage in the mage tower in the capital city of Holsteia kingdom.

A child born with talent and looks, was now the professor of this academy. A true main character for some over powered person.

As for Shun he tried to look in its status using the privilege's of his own system and realized that for some reason the person himself was able to hide his own status from the system itself. 

According to Shun knowledge, the only person who could block a system's eye was another system holder itself. Meaning this so called child professor was also a system holder just like him.

After the professor introduced the new professor, the said professor then walked in front of the class and begun to speak out.

"Good morning everyone! I'm Nico Arnold! I'll be your professor for practical magic in combat. I'm age 18 so i hope everyone could also regard me as a friend"

After the new professor named Nico introduced himself, he then bowed his head as he sat on the professors table and simply observe  the whole class. Since this is his first day, he was given an opportunity to see on how the class function.

At this moment the class was being taught by various theories dedicated to multiple research made by the mages in the capital city of the kingdom. Through this session, some of the students simply raised their concerns as they point out some things they don't understand throughout the class. Naturally such inquiry was easily answered by the professor in a professional manner.

After the class ended, the whole class was then dismissed as the professor bid his farewell together with professor Nico. The moment they left, some of Shun's classmates begun to discuss the new professor as they seemed to have mix evaluation towards him.

Of course this topic was also being discussed by Aria and Sephiria as they clean up their notes and prepared to head towards another class. Along the way both Aria and Sephiria looked at Shun as they wanted to inquire his thoughts towards the child professor.

"Shun! What do you think about him? our new professor? If he mange to get into such occupation and acknowledgement, then wouldn't that mean that he is a prodigy?"

"Prodigy? I think so too, cause i mean look how he got his title at such a young age... i really feel like he is a prodigy in his own area"

In that moment Just as they passed a corner, they saw Professor Nico on the hallway below as he was surrounded by freshman woman who adorned him for being a prodigy at such a young age. With a guy having such a title at such a young age, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he would have a tremendous power and fortune in the future.

With such path, it would naturally be obvious that he would be rushed down by some woman who wanted to climb higher into the society by marrying a capable person. The simple term for this back on earth is gold digger. but such act was quite normal in this world.

the new professor was so popular that there was even a rumor that he would get engaged to the only princess of the country, specifically Cedric's little sister  princess Ivory. If such a rumor was true, Shun just could imagine Cedric reaction towards such rumor.

But no matter how good looking, respectable, and high valued person professor Nico is, Shun wouldn't let his guard down around him. A person who most likely have a system is an unpredictable person, with such possibility, he just couldn't help but be wary towards the new professor.

In that moment professor Nico looked his way, as he smiled brightly which gave Shun shivers from being the receiving end of such smile. At that Shun slowly retreated away as felt nauseous from receiving such smile that was supposed to be targeted towards the girls.

For a second there, Shun couldn't help but speculate that the new professor might be gay.

Unable to handle such disgusting thought as a straight person, Shun then quickly turn his back as he doesn't want to be the receiving end of such affection. Additionally with that Shun was even more determined to find out what the new professor was hiding behind his mask and persona.
