Chapter 243: Midterms III

A day has passed, Shun had successfully undertook about 4 subjects already and all of them are written exam for the whole school year. Now that the written exams were over, all that remains are the two subjects that would need the students to undertake it practically. So in order to not fully burden the students with stress, the remaining practical exams were scheduled the very next day in order to give the students time to rest their tired minds.

Basically Shun was free for the day. While that was supposed to be the case, his unannounced fiancé Sephiria took the chance to pull him out of his free time and made him follow her and Aria in roaming all around the Academy. In this very moment the three of them are heading over towards the market area of the school where restaurants and entertainment are served openly.

"Hey! Shun! i was planning to buy some clothes along the way, do you wanna come?" asks by Sephiria

"Can i refuse?" asks by Shun

"No!"

"Exactly!"

Hearing Sephiria rejected his suggestion, Shun couldn't help but show a tired looking face as he followed along the trail behind Sephiria. But seeing her happy refreshing face after traversing the torturous written exams, Shun couldn't help but give in as he followed her whims. On the other hand Aria misinterpreted Shun's facial expression as him being forcefully dragged along.

With a worried bit on her face, she then confronted Sephiria as she tried to coax her in understanding Shun's state.

"Hey Sephiria! I think we can just shop on our own"

"What do you mean?"

"Well Shun doesn't look so good, maybe we're burdening him and just forcefully dragging him along?"

Upon hearing that, Sephiria too a quick glance at Shun, before she turned her head forward and replied.

"You don't have to worry about a thing!"

"Huh?"

"I mean he was able to fight a  powerful enemy despite his tired state before, so this much is nothing to him"

"Eh?"

When Aria heard such a response, she couldn't help but showed a confused look, as she doesn't get why would Sephiria compare this situation to a situation where a life was on the line. The risks were too different and it doesn't make sense. But since she felt awkward asking any further than that, she just gave a wry smile as she followed along feeling helpless from seeing Shun's tired state.

First off the girls went straight to the shopping district as they tried various clothes, accessories, and perfumes along the way. Since Aria was of a commoner status, she was somewhat overwhelmed a bit by this activity wherein she would need to try out different type of clothes. With her own status as a basis, such luxury experience was only a dream for her and out of reach. But this very moment, by being the close friend of the duke's daughter, she was experiencing the impossible for the very first time of her life.

"Give me all the dresses that were tried out by my friend" said by Sephiria towards the sales lady

"Your going to buy all of them?" asks by Aria in surprise

"Of course! I meant to give all of them to you"

"To me? why? but you bought them with your own money"

"Pocket money to be exact, but what's use is them if i cant even spend them?" replied by Sephiria

While Aria was surprised  by the pile that Sephiria bought, Shun on the other hand was surprised as he completely forgot just how rich Sephiria's family is. After spending so much time with Sephiria away from her  home territory, he actually just how rich is the ducal family to the point that it is astonishing. But since it is said that every duke family is only second to the royal family, then their riches can be also said only to be second to the riches of the royal family. So spending such huge amount was not surprising at all.

All in all Sephiria spent about 120 platinum coins which is equivalent to about 120,000,000, 000 dollars back on earth. Such huge amount was truly frightening to a obvious degree. In fact even Aria was surprised that Sephiria bought the clothes with platinum coins, after all she wouldn't even be able to save  up to a platinum coin on her whole life, so seeing just once was akin seeing something from the myth coming to life itself.

Now the biggest problem here is how the heck Shun would be able to carry all of this all on his own.

In the end Shun resorted to buying a spatial bag from the store next to the clothing department and stored all of the clothes within the bag. After storing all of them, Shun then handed it towards Aria, as the latter held it tightly near her heart with a small smile appearing at the edge of her lips.

After that, the girls then headed towards one of the fancy restaurants near the academy, as Sephiria ordered an expensive dish for all of them to enjoy. Since this was quite a luxurious place, Aria couldn't help but feel pressured by the atmosphere in her surrounds as she imagine people looking at her weirdly due to her being a commoner. But that was all just in her imagination.

In fact the people here doesn't even care your status in life, each and every individual in this restaurant has a business of their own, so they cant afford to scrutinize someone if they themselves have an issue of their own. With that in mind, they just spent their time chatting away as they eat their ordered meal before leaving the venue itself.

Finally at the near end of the day, the girls then went to see a performance in a theater art together with Shun in order to just relax and enjoy the show itself. The performance lasted for about three hours and once that was done, a whole room of applause came, as the audience praised the performers themselves.

After that event, Sephiria then decided to call it a day as they all went back to their dorms  in order to take a rest. While both Sephiria  an Aria returned to their dorm happily, Shun on the other hand returned exhausted, as he slump down on his bed with his tired body. But despite being exhausted, he did enjoy the whole day, as he was satisfied to see Sephiria enjoying the time of her life as a student.

After all a student's experience is the most memorable thing for a person to have in their life. Plus this is her final year, so it is only right that she should enjoy it while she still can. With that thought giving him a peace of mind, he then opened up his summoning book as he summoned Yuumi out of nowhere, in front of him.

"At your service! So what do you want me to do Shun?" asks by Yuumi

"Nice timing! massage my back! make sure i'm satisfied"
