Juno's pov:

"Juno! Thank you for helping with the decorations! How are you?" Hazel asked.

"Of course! Nice dress, Hazel. How are you?" Juno had leaned how to avoid questions by simply asking the same question to them. Juno didn't like lying to others. But he did not either want to talk to others about what was in his mind, people never really cared anyway. And the more people who knew what was really going on, the higher the chance of them telling others something he would not want them to. He had learned to keep things to himself, and live as best as he could. Eliot was looking at him. Did he have something on his face?

"I'm great! Thanks for asking. The music's way too high tho!" Hazel fumbled with a bracelet.

"Oh, this is Eliot." Juno introduced.

She looked back and forth between Eliot and Juno. "I know." She then leaned over and said something to Eliot. He couldn't hear what over the beat from the song, but it made the brunette smile and look at him. Was he blush?

Juno cursed himself for drinking. He didn't want to become addicted like his dad, but the group pressure had gotten to him and he hated it so, so much. Why was he like this? All those years, did no one care? He was just a kid. He still is. Why don't any adults find this weird?

"Wanna we go outside?" Hazel asked them a couple minutes later. Eliot and Hazel seemed to get along well. "It's crowded."

Eliot nodded. Juno took a hold of Eliot's dark gray sleeve, and got himself taken out by the brunette. Eliot looked back at him, he didn't seem to mind. A mild wind hit them when they stepped outside. It was refreshing. He could finally breathe. He always did wonder how Eliot's eyes seemed to sparkle like the stars that began to show on the night sky. He wondered what Eliot was thinking at this moment.

Hazel put on a big smile and waved to a little group of students, a couple of meters away. "I'll come back later, just have to say hi. Bye Eliot, bye Juno."

"Goodbye." Eliot turned around to face Juno as they walked away from the door, the loud music and the people.

"She's nice." Eliot commented.

"Yeah, she is. And like the only person I know who's also asexual. That's how we became friends actually." Juno always got too overexcited, when he talked about something that meant a lot to him.

"Not that you mention it, she did have a bracelet that resembled the asexual flag, did she not?" Eliot was connecting the dots.

"Oh, she has several. She's aroace."

"Well... I know you've said that word before, but I cannot seem to remember what it means. Care to enlightening me Juno?" He was cute.

"Of course Ellie. She's an aromatic asexual. Experience little to no sexual nor romantic attraction."

"Ellie?" Yes Ellie.  He wanted something that only he could tall him. To him, Eliot was more intoxicating than opium. (This is a drug. It comes from the opium poppy. That's a flower often found in central China, but is grown in most of the world.)

"Oh, I'm sorry. It's just a nickname I came up with. I'm sorry." He was uncomfortable. And took a step back and away from everything.

The brunette took a step closer to him. "No don't apologise, I like it."

"You do?"

"I do, Juno." One could see the sincerity in those green eyes. Why did he have to be soo sweet? He was wonderful.

(Thank you for reading and may you have a great day/night. It feels like I have been freezing my fingers off, but I do like being able to breathe fresh air. Haha.
On average I faint once per week. But the cold is getting to me, so I have been good at finding benches to faint uncomfortably on. It haven't been that much, cause I'm getting pretty good at dealing with it, tho my mother just calls it being lazy. And I don't disagree... but still.)
