Chapter 25: Stalkers

Paolo's POV
Giorgio's obsession with Isabella is toxic. The girl doesn't love him but he doesn't care. He won't rest until he marries her. I am dying to see that wedding. Will he carry her down the aisle? It won't be shocking really. Forced mafia marriages are just like that. Some brides comply and others kick and scream to the last moment.

My parents are a good example of a mafia marriage. My mother was forced into marrying the godfather. She accepted her fate and has had many years with my father. Unfortunately, they are no longer together. She had an affair,he found out and ended the marriage. It was a merciful exit. I expected him to kill her. He has forbidden us to see her but she comes around anyway, to see my younger sisters Viola and Rosita.

I am parked outside a gated community. This is where I have ended up after trailing the mirror image of Isabella or Daniella. This shit is confusing.

"Ciao Giorgio."

"Ciao Paolo. Tell me something worth hearing."

"I checked out the addresses you sent to me." Since I am in New York, he called me to ask this favor. "Tribeca was a burst. That trashy neighborhood was a burst. But the third one, checked out. I saw her in town. I followed her here. Your girl is right. She has an identical twin."

"How identical?"

"Head spinning identical." I answered. "What now?"

"Grab her."

"Grab her?" I'm thinking about the man she was with. I can or take that guy head on. I'll have to shoot him. I don't want to piss off the old man. He told us not to start shit he will have to finish. "The man he's with is... he looks like he will go down swinging. I'm not grabbing anyone."

"I want both of them."

"Is it a part of some twisted twin fantasy?"

"To get to the bottom of their lies stupido! Get her for me!"

"No. Do it yourself." I hanged up.

It's not just Bruce St Patrick I'm concerned about. It's Balotelli. I saw them together. He is off limits according to dear old dad. I dint know what that means but I know that there's no getting to Bruce St Patrick without Nico Balotelli getting involved.

Giorgio is going to make a big mess of things if he doesn't end his obsession with Isabella.

Anna's POV
Dani skipped graduation. She said she has morning sickness. The funniest thing is that very afternoon I saw her along diamonds district with shopping bags. What I know about Dani is that she hates shopping. Whenever I took her shopping, she would get bored fast. But somehow, that has changed. She is spending Brucey's money like nothing I have ever done.

"Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones?" Liam cringed.

"No."

She didn't recognize Liam. Her exact words to him when they met earlier today were: "Get away from me creep." Those are not pregnancy hormones.

"How can we explain it then?"

"True colors? Maybe she has always been a bitch and she was just waiting to land big money to stop acting like the poor nice girl. I'm starting to think that pregnancy wasn't a mistake." I'm pacing around. "I think she seduced Brucey to land a billionaire!"

"What?"

I paused. Shit! Liam doesn't know about Dani and Brucey.

"Nothing. Forget it."

"How can I? That's your brother's baby? Shit dude! Wait... your brother is like really old!"

"He's 33." I corrected him. He flaked out on his surprise party. He left us eating his cake and opening his presents. It is so like Brucey to flake out on parties. "She lied about her age. He didn't know."
