Daniella's POV
I left the party downstairs to check on my baby girl. It's past her bedtime and her routine is messed up today. We decided to host a thanksgiving dinner at our house. It's hard to focus on Reina when everything else needs my attention.
I stopped at the nursery door when I noticed a little boy staring at her. I quietly slipped in to see it's Marcelle. He's just staring at my daughter.
"Marcelle? Is everything okay?"
"She was crying. I didn't know what to do so I just stood here. She's quiet now."
"Would you like to hold her?"
"Of course not. Babies are filthy." I glared at him. "I'm sorry. It's true. They drool like dogs. They poop on themselves and they don't brush... they don't have teeth but still... they are filthy."
"Not mine. Do you want to hold her?"
He took a seat. "Fine. Five seconds."
I laughed to myself. I picked Reina up from the crib and set her into his little arms. "Careful."
"I know how to hold a baby." He told me sternly. "I have held four."
"Five seconds for each?"
"Too much of something is poison."
I came down to his height. "Yet you're still holding my daughter."
He blushed a little. "She's pretty. I like the colour of her eyes. Hi Reina. My name is Marcelle."
"Maybe you two can be friends-"
"I don't see how I can be friends with a baby. I'm done. Take her."
As soon as I did, he left.
"Reina, it looks like you made you very own first friend." I kissed her forehead. "You're perfect. Mommy loves you."
Bruce's POV
My first born daughter was born at 11pm at night. We named her Reina. She has the prettiest green eyes, my color. Reina is bright with life and curiosity. Wherever her mischievousness sends her, she goes. She's not calm. She's a tornado. She swoops around the house causing us chaos and sleepless nights. But wherever she is, she brings joy because she is the happiest pill.
My second born daughter was also born in he dead of night, close to midnight. We named her Renée. Unlike Reina, she's not bright with life nor is she curious. Renée keeps to herself. She finds something that intrigues her and that is where she is stuck until it makes sense. Renée has big brown eyes just like Dani. Renée really looks like Dani. She doesn't cry as much as we expect her too. She's by far our cleverest child. We can openly see that. She's smart, like her mother. She has a serious nature. She barely laughs.
My third born daughter was born close to 3am in the morning. She is pretty, looks nothing like Dani and has brown eyes. Renée's brown is warm. Charlene has streaks of green in her brown eyes. Charlene is a lot like Renée where intelligence is concerned. The two of them make Reina look dumb. But Charlene is destructive and incapable is sitting still. We have lost count of how often she has been caught destroying things or even jumping from tables and climbing on furniture. She's adventurous and daring.
My youngest Laila was born at 7am in the morning. That came as a surprise to us. She's the loudest baby. She screams at the top of her lungs whenever she pleases. She's the fussiest but when I look into her pretty green eyes, I can't help but love her more than the others. Laila is the girliest. She's a sweetheart.
I got four daughters like I wanted and I can't be more happier. Dani has made this family possible and they are four reasons to love her more.
We are happy.
Our little family is happy.
