Chapter 66 Something Better For Myself ⚠️

Shoto stopped moving for a moment, Sero caught him off guard. He actually hadn't expected the alpha to even like him in that way. It was a bit weird to hear it outloud but Sho didn't turn away.

"I..." Shoto began to stammer feeling helpless. "I'm not good for you. After you guys kill my brother and his people I'll just go away. I'm not good for you..." Shoto was lying, he did like Sero. He enjoyed the alpha's company even without the drugs. He wanted to claim the alpha for his own a while back but not with Dabi circling him like a vulture.

Sero saw the doubt in Shoto's eyes. He reached out and lifted Sho's chin to look up at him. "I don't think that's been decided yet by both parties." The alpha smiled. "I think I need time to get to know you better before that's decided." The alpha leaned in and kissed Shoto. While the omega still felt the lustful hunger of the alpha, Sho could tell there was something more in this kiss. A possible promise of a future together.

Sero's hand slipped into Shoto's hair and held them together. He broke the kiss for just a second to whisper. "You may be exactly what I need."

Hearing that made Shoto gasp a little bit. He didn't know what else to say to that but his body did. He moved in to kiss the alpha again putting arms back around him. No one ever really asked to get to know Shoto before. He had always been treated as less than a person.

Many alphas had said they wanted to take him away from this life before. They all meant to keep him for themselves as their private slave. Sho had an abundance of offers before but none seemed as genuine as Sero.

Sero wrapped his arms around Shoto and spun them around so the omega was pinned against the wall. Usually it was Sho who was the dominant one in their interactions, but Sero but finding a new confidence all of a sudden. The alpha's lips attacked with stronger determination, the alpha who had always been willing to submit to the omega was now asserting himself. Sero had something he was trying to prove.

The elevator doors opened and closed multiple times along the trip but neither Sero or Sho noticed or cared. They were focused only on each other. Their make out in the small quarters was less about lust and need and more like both trying to prove a point to the other. Shoto wanted to try and maintain his independence and Sero wanted to prove he could take care of the omega.

When the elevator came to a stop on the suite level, the two stumbled out and crashed against the walls as they moved to Shoto's room. Neither could keep their hands off the other. The kiss went on so long, if felt like they were suffocating and yet they couldn't stop. When they reached Shoto's door, Sero pulled away from Sho's lips. The rush of air coming between them felt so cold compared to the heat building around their lips. Sero growled and nipped at the omega's mouth.

"Invite me in?~" The alpha whispered. Shoto felt a tingle run through him. This was the first time Hanta had ever used his strength as alpha on him, but it didn't feel like a command. It wasn't just a request to enter the omega's room, Sero wanted Shoto to let him into his life. To let them be completely open with one another.

Shoot blushed a bit but looked at the door. He moved to open it up. He pushed the door open with his key and pulled the alpha inside. This was new for him, having someone that really wanted to know who he was inside.

"Yeah, you can come in" Shoto said. He moved toward the couch and not the bedroom. Doing this made things a bit awkward. Shoto wasn't lunging for sex or trying to control Hanta, just sat there, as if waiting to be commanded.

The slower pace was good for Sero. The alpha was so easily seduced by the omega's beauty and charm. When Shoto wanted, his simplest moves could make Sero want to pounce on him. Thankfully, the mood had shifted enough that Sero could keep his thoughts focused.
