Chapter 80 Too Trusting

"Okay, students..." Momo walked around the dry erase board she had moved into the basement garage. She smiled at all her young and attentive students. "We're going to do some more reading today and then do some math. We've been practicing with counting money. Does that sound fun?" She looked at the back of the room where Izuku and Denki were sitting.

"Yay!" All the omegas shouted ready to learn. Momo had turned them all into her mini classroom over the time they had been there. Even so much so as to give them all little uniforms. White shirts black blazers and black bottoms but most of them wore skirts. Everyone got to wear whatever color socks they wanted but black shoes.

Izu and Denki were like two class clowns. They giggled making jokes and passing notes. Momo wanted them to have some kind of normalcy so she let it slide as long as they didn't get too loud or fall too far behind.

Some omegas were mimicking them and whispering to each other during class, talking about clothes or workers they had met around the hotel. They were slowly becoming more well-behaved and acting like regular teenagers and young people. Momo was supremely proud of them all.

"We're going to reread our book from last time to start off." Momo lifted up a big book with a children's drawing of a bear. "Our favorite color and animal book. The Big Brown Bear!" The kids began squealing with delight. Momo smiled and opened the book. It had a yellow duck on it. "What animal is this?"

"Duck!" Everyone replied back.

"And what color is it?" Momo asked her adoring class.

"Yellow!" They all replies before pointing at other thing in the class that were yellow. Izu pointed to best friend's hair and Denki pointed to Izu's socks.

"Very good! Very good, my students." Momo smiled. "And what is..." She turned the page to a frog. "...this animal?"

"FROG!" They all yelled a little louder.

"And what color is a frog?" Momo asked knowing how excited they all would get.

"GREEN!" They yelled once again pointing to everything green in their classroom. Izu stood up with Denki while pointing things out.

"I green!" Izu giggled twirling his hair and pointing to Denki's socks. Momo went through the rest of the colors of the rainbow before having all of them build with blocks before snack time.

"Zuzu, DeDe, want to build tall tower?" One of the little girls came and asked the two of them.

Momo saw Izuku and Denki be asked to play with another omega. The alpha teacher knew Denki was usually friendly with other students, but Izuku was hard to predict. Sometimes he got upset when Denki wanted to make new friends. So she stayed close but didn't intervene. She wanted to see what Izu would do.

Izu was a bit reserved on his response. He wanted to play with Denki and no one else but he was taught better than that. He remembered how bad the baby girl Nia felt after he shouted at her.

"Ok" Izu said grabbing his share of blocks. Denki smiled loving Izu being more friendly than before. "Build tall tower.."

"Yay!" The little girl squealed and added her blocks to the pile. Denki followed next. They now had a large pile of blocks to all work from. "Different colors? Diff..." she hesitated and tried to remember her words. "Different... colors for tower?" She put a blue block on top of a red and looked at the boys to see if they understood what she meant.

With a smile, Momo moved on to watch over the other children. She was happy to see Izuku being more inclusive with the other omegas. He and Denki might not have known all of these kids at Chisaki's prison, but they had all suffered in the same way and needed to heal in the same way. The older omegas, after a few lessons, had been allowed to do some minor work around the hotel. Bakugo and Kirishima had demanded that some of them needed to put in the work to make up for all the food and money being spent on them. Momo didn't like their attitude about it, but she had seen it as a good opportunity for the older kids to develop.
