Chapter 68 Reunion

Kat chuckled and kissed Izuku on the lips, reminding him who loved him the most. Then he pulled away and smiled at the greenette. "They need you. They look up to you. You were like them, but now you've come so far and done so much they never believed could happen." He leaned down and lowered Izuku so he could touch the floor. "I'll be right here. I won't leave. You can go play with your friends, babe."
Izu nodded and let his hands be grabbed by his friends. He went over to the coloring books to color with his friends.

"Cute feets" an omega boy with light pink hair smiled. "I like!" Izu and him were around the same size. He knew the Pinky as Kyle or Kyla when he worked. "I wear?"

"Ok." Izu said taking off his shoes. Kyle put on the heels and started prancing around in them. "Pretty!"

In the corner Denki was still cuddling his mother. The blonde had balled up as small as he could in her arms. His mother rocked as she sang softly to him. Shinsou came closer now, feeling a little anxious about not having Denki with him and seeing someone else holding him. He walked up to the mother with her pup, but didn't get too close to scare them.

"Hello," he said softly. He gave a little, awkward wave. "My name is Hitoshi Shinsou. It's nice to meet you." This was maybe the most unusual 'meet the parents' moment that ever happened.

"A-Anzu..." his mother replied. The omega was taller than Denki but mostly just looked like an older more feminine version of the boy. There weren't many differences showing exactly where the younger omega got his looks from. "M-my baby. S-safe, can keep? My baby I want keep."

Shinsou frowned and bit his lip. "Denki... DeDe..." Shinsou wasn't sure what name the mother would know her son by. "I have sworn myself to him. I chose him to be my mate. And he chose me to be his alpha." Shinsou looked at Denki and hoped the omega would second his claim. "We can stay as a family. You are his mother. But I still claim his as my mate."

"But him my baby! I no see, him gone and him mine!" Anzu began to whimper holding her boy tightly. Denki wanted to speak out saying Shinsou was right but he couldn't find the words. He wanted to stay with him mother too.

"M-mama..." Denki whimpered nuzzling into his mother's chest. He stayed there with her on the floor as she looked up at the alpha. "H-him...."

Shinsou waited for Denki to say more. To tell his mother that he was the boy's chose alpha. But the longer it took for Denki to speak, the more doubt that Shinsou felt. Was Denki unsure about choosing him? Had he done something wrong?

Denki could see the pain in Shinsou's face. His failing to answer or say anything was hurting the alpha more each second. The arms that had reached out to hold him so many times were pulling away, empty. The strong scent of the strong alpha was replaced by a scent of sadness and despair.

Denki began to whimper and cry but he couldn't keep himself away from his mother. Anzu pulled her baby away from Shinsou. She stood up pulling him toward her bed to cuddle her child. All while she whispered how Denki was her baby.

"T-Toshi..." Denki whimpered looking at his alpha who didn't follow them. Shinsou stood where they left him in gut wrenching pain. His mate was just taken from him, even if it was by his mother it still hurt. "Mama...Toshi..." Denki began to point at the alpha wanting him not to be sad.

His mother thought her baby was scared of the alpha so she began to growl. Her small instincts kicking in making her protective over he baby. The alpha growled back at the mother's challenge. Shinsou couldn't help himself. He was an alpha. An alpha was not to be challenged by an omega. Not without response. The mother was stealing the boy he loved from him. Shinsou stepped closer, but Anzu only wrapped herself tighter around Denki.
