If Only: New Valentine's Year ⚠️

"Okay, yes... I know it's Valentine's Day, but we missed New Year's Eve, so... I thought we could combine them?"

Hanta smiled and held Shoto's hand as they walked through Club Pynk. The club was empty except for their small private party. After some arguing and some bribes, Hanta had convinced Uncle Twinkle to let them have the place be closed for one night so they could have a party for Shoto after his horrible weeks going through withdrawal. Hanta had sent in some friends early to clear out any drugs they could find and lock up the booze. Only non-alcohol drinks were permitted and nobody was allowed to bring their own stuff in. Momo had double searched Mina before she came inside, and she was very upset to find some joints in her pockets.

"The club looks like it was styled after you," Hanta whispered into Shoto's ear.

For Valentine's Day, there were hundreds of red and pink hearts hanging from the ceiling and scattered across the floor and tables. Red streamers circled the dancing stage and pink ribbons were draped over the back. But for their faux-New Years party, strings of bright white lights were put across the ceiling to look like stars. White and black party balloons were on the table, and some discounted table toppers were put out: party horns, funny glasses with the eyeholes made from the numbers, and hats that looked like fireworks. The combination of reds and whites did match Shoto's hair.

The alpha began to get anxious and leaned in to whisper. "Is...is it too much? I didn't mean to, if it's overwhelming. I just wanted to give you a fun time."

Shoto sighed looking around, it did appear to have taken them a while to get all these decorations together. The omega wasn't feeling too great about the party, he was reaching his 4th month and was somewhat showing. It looked like he was a bit bloated if people were paying attention but the lights were so dim nobody could see unless they were close. Sho looked at his alpha who was still waiting for his response and gave him a soft smile.

"It looks crazy in here.... But I like it" Shoto said honestly. He found the place nice enough, "honestly it could use a bit more."

"Oh, don't tempt me," Hanta said, beginning to smile again now that he knew Sho liked it. "I might start firing streamers across the room. I'm wearing short sleeves. These dispensers are armed and ready, you'll see."

He laughed and slid his hands around the omega's waist and lifted him up to his toes so he could give him a kiss. Hanta gave his mate gentle strokes across his back, a motion that had helped calm him some times before. The alpha nuzzled his lover's cheek and smiled. "I'm so proud of you, you know that? What you've done. What you accomplished." He gave Sho a light squeeze. "You overcame it and conquered it. Like I knew you would. You're the strongest person in this room."

Hanta glanced across the room to see Kirishima arguing with Bakugo. Rehab might have gotten the alpha clean, but it did nothing to curb his adrenaline spikes and screaming tantrums. And hanging on his neck was Izuku, with a big, swollen belly of his own. Shinsou and Denki sat at a table nearby and the omega was taste testing the different NA-champagnes. It was just fruity, bubbly water. Hanta was glad that everyone was conforming to his rule to keep this event clean.

Holding his Shoto close, Hanta lead the omega across the room. "Come on, Princess. If we're going to make our announcement, I think we should take a test run and see how Uncle Twinkle reacts. If it's too much for you to deal with, then we won't tell anybody. It can keep being our little secret. Sound good?"

"Yeah" Shoto said as they walked into the back area. Sho knew exactly where to go to reach his old boss, even if it had been a almost 6 months since he was at the club. "Hey!"

"Hey honey" Ayoama smiled walking up to Shoto giving him a hug. "Your alpha is very persistent. And a bit annoying."

"Imagine having a kid with him" Shoto smirked bumping Hanta a bit. Ayoama cheered and hugged the omega once more happy for their pregnancy.
